What is a good way to do flips tricks/ any trick at a fast speed? I want to be able to do k-flips, heel flips, and varials at a reasonable speed before i move onto something else so i feel more comfortable with them.

any tips or anything i should know?

commitment. if you commit 100% when you go fast, chances are, you'll land them (provided that your stationary heels varials and k's are consistant)

Commit and the faster you go the more likely you are to catch it.

If you have your trick consistant i find it helps to just focus on the catch.

Try do the tricks while gradually getting faster. Don't try and go real fast right of the bat. Just push off a few times and do the trick then get it consistant and when you feel comfertable with it try pushing off a few more times. Another thing is just commit to what you are doing. This seemed to help me a bit. Good luck.

Yeah, just get comfortable at medium pace, then gradually build up. Really, it's all commitment and I find that I can only do tricks while going really fast when I'm really pumped. Clean, high kickflips going really fast are the best feeling ever

Doing tricks at fast speeds scare the crap out of me, if i'm going real fast.

But just keep doing them, then gradually start trying them faster.

180s are good on high speed.

I can't go fast when I do my tricks or.. fail.

Try gradually increasing your speed and doing the trick.

Yeah, I've been wondering this too, and I agree with everyone else, just go gradually increasing speed.

Nice! That's what you gotta do....grow some balls kids!

When I was a kid, I was the one skating as fast as I could. It's so much more fun to skate fast. Especially if you're in a line. The less you have to push, the sicker you are.
