To add like a featured song on your page or whatever, I'm pretty sure you just have to find the song on someone elses page, probably a band, and under the name, click add.

Click on music from the menu and then type in the band, from there after the player loads click add then select add to profile. Same for videos just click videos.

But the only way you can add songs from cds is on project play list after you upload them to a site (if you search a band it normally says http://bandurl.com/song.html or /song.mp3) you can't just rip a track off a cd and then add it to your myspace.

to upload you need to make a music myspace account.

click the music tab in myspace and on the red bar on that page hit artist signup.

you just have to activate your email and stuff and then you can go on and upload songs. be sure not to name them the actual name and change your band name to something else or they'll delete your account because it's not your song.

Really I say project playlist is the better bet then that, no risk of any trouble and you can have 75 songs on the playlist and have them play at random and such.

Only reason I'm against PP is because it's just plain ugly and I'm a chick when it comes to my myspace because I'm a perfectionist and I hate seeing things unorganized and whatnot. This is probably the reason I type with correct grammar and such lol.

You can organize it and Im sure you can also hide the player as well so it won't pop up. But when it comes to myspace I can't really care less, when I tried to do the about me it wasn't true, I don't even know myself. So I just threw up things about games cause games are my life at this moment.

Could have done that but I tried to do a survey to fill the void and that didn't fly so I tossed it. Im known for half assing things if I even do them at all but for once I tried with 100% of my effort and failed, oh well for now its good.
