ok. i see people saying thier ollie is whatever inches or feet high. how do people measure their ollies?????

but you could get a ruler or tape-measure and have it stand face up somehow, and then film yourself ollie'in with the tape measure in the back ground. lawlz

I have a box, so I know how high that is, and just used to measure from that. If you really wanted to know, you could just a measuring tape, camera and ollie infront of the tape, but its not that important to get too specific ..

I measure my ollies by how many decks I can ollie.

I can ollie about 2 decks and a street deck is usually from 7.5'' to 8'' so 15 to 16 inches.

You measure whatever you are ollieing over or onto.

Get something that your pretty sure you could ollie, measure it. Then ollie it and thats around what you can ollie. Or you can ollie decks and assume how high your ollies are.

First try to ollie something little like a stick or your hose so you wont have ollie high.

I read a tutorial on this site where you can take to pieces of plywood, cut notches in them, and put a steel ball in the notch. Then you ollie the bar and measure it then increase the hieight of the bar by putting it on the next notch and so on.
