I just walked up the street from work to make my daily deposit.

and i stopped in black cat for a second. (one of the local skate shops)

i picked up a couple shirts and a tool, and got some lucky bushings for free cause i know the owner...anyway, aside from that

he was showin me some magnesium trucks, i dont remember who he said made them. but they were black and red. and weighed 1/2 of the indy trucks he had.

anyone know anything about them? he said that hes sold 10 of em so far, but hasnt gotten and feedback on them yet. So i was wondering if you guys have tried them?

I would think that magnesium would be a lot more brittle and prone to breaking on hard impact. But then again, it may also be easier to get grooves in for locking in grinds.

Tensor?

My friends brother had some and they broke after like a week, but i think it was cause he kept them way too tight.

Magnesium catches fire easily. Trucks sometimes make sparks when they grind.

Personally I don't think there's much of a weight difference either, I've handled them before.
They're Tensors BTW

according to ccs, tensor magnesium trucks are 25% lighter than the industry standard.
