View Full Version : Dogtown: Legend of the Z-boys
Elemental106 06-02-2008, 08:03 PM I got it for $23.10 on Amazon.
Recieved it on Friday before I went to work. It's amazing. I recommend it for anyone who is a major Dogtown fan. You won't like it if you don't enjoy reading articles about the original people though. This book is made out of articles from when all of that was taking place, half of the book worth is colored pictures of carving in the bowl, pools, etc. Peggy Oki isn't in it much though, which kinda disappoints me but that's okay. It's pretty cool how the actors in the movie really look like the people when they were younger. I would totally scan some pages for you guys to see, but the book is shaped like a square, hardcover one at that, and I can fit it on the scanner...Check it out though, I doubt you'll regret it. It's definitely a coffee table book that you would spend time on.

oops.. I meant it can't* lol because it's a hardcover and it's shaped weird for the scanner so it won't go in.

Elemental106 06-05-2008, 11:45 AM No.. mine can't go in unless it's only like half a page showing with blurryness.

I do want you to go purchase the movie or something though, encourage the industry.
It's freakish how the actors look like the persons themselves when they were younger. Except Stacy in the movie looks a bit more older.
