View Full Version : Judgement Day 12 21 12?
fallen23zero 06-05-2008, 08:30 PM i was on youtube and some comment said were gonna die in 4 years...so....i looked up humanity ends 2012. apparently some mayan prophet predicted there would be a new creation in 2012 on december 21. at first i didn believe it but somethings were a bit hinting, but then again they could be overlooked and purposely extracted these things when the prophet did not mean this at all.
well apparently we use time by 12 hours and 60 minutes when nature uses 13 annual moons and 20 fingers and toes. apparently the prohpet died but wasn celebrated til 9 years later. then they found his body in like 1962 or something and that was a difference of 1260 years notice the time. then 2012 to the year he was celebrated was 1320. the time of nature or something. so is this sayin we have to believe in nature and reconnect.
just google "humanity ends 2012" etc. and i think its the first or second page...its actually quite interersting and a good read.
so any ideas, belifes, disbelifes post em up
Nothing is going to happen, the Mayans couldnt even predict their own demise let alone an apocalypse.
LukEASY 06-05-2008, 08:37 PM lol you just heard about this?
i mean i guess it's kind of freaky if you think about it but it's nothing really to worry about. actually there was a documentary on the discovery channel on this about 2 weeks ago and i watched it. they had a lot of, uhm, i forget what you call it, but they had a lot of them that happened every certain number of years, and whatever the thing read something of that nature has happened each time so they were saying it was a possibility according to the past. obviously using common knowledge it's rather doubtful but fascinating to look at i suppose.
NativeSkater 06-05-2008, 08:37 PM Someone posted a thread like this a while back, and it's all bull****. The world ends when it ends. The Mayans are human too, they don't know s***. Someone having the title of prophet doesn't mean they can tell you when the world ends.
kr3wdude59 06-05-2008, 08:56 PM Bull spit!
McCrank 06-05-2008, 10:15 PM Was no "mayan prophet". They had an accurate calender that ends at dec 21 2012. Nothing more, nothing less.
Anyways it's nothing to worry about because life on earth will be reset like it have in the past. Human race will die out and the universe goes on.
Shorty's_Kid 06-05-2008, 10:25 PM I don't think it will happen in 2012. But it's still scary because everything we know and have WILL die out someday, but we do not know when. It's just scary that everything is all coming to an end sooner or late.r
AlmostaSkater14 06-05-2008, 10:38 PM Yeah like McCrank said, the Mayan just ended their calendar on that big pyramid calendar thing they built on December 21 2012. i just think its random. well it is i suppose. maybe they ran out of space or something?
Anyways it's nothing to worry about because life on earth will be reset like it have in the past. Human race will die out and the universe goes on.
well, unless we kill the earth before we die out.
NativeSkater 06-05-2008, 10:49 PM I just thought about something...12 21 12
Higher-Class 06-06-2008, 03:08 AM I just thought about something...12 21 12
...Yeah?
Rohanjamtart 06-06-2008, 04:58 AM i hope your still on skaters cafe on the 21st of december 2012 so we can all laugh in your face .
nothing is going to happen. it was probably just some stoned guy making **** up
cha-BANG 06-06-2008, 05:48 AM hey, we're still here after 6/6/6, and nothin happened, and the same hype was in the air then. don't be swayed by this junk
FlatlandBran 06-06-2008, 06:17 AM BUT! You guys are forgetting what 12 x 21 x 12 is... 3024
3024 / 4.5405405405405405405405405405405
=...
666.
Definately a sign.

Ok but where did the 4.540540540540540 etc. come from??? You can have any number there ever was and divide it by some random long ass decimal number and it will eventually come out to 666. So inless that 4.540 number has any real signifigence (sp) its all BS.
ZeroSkaterFTW 06-06-2008, 10:41 AM The number 4.5405405405405405405405405405405 significance is it has many 5's and many 4's, also what we call, the numbers of death. It is a number used by many modern scientists to make theories such as these, and it is right 9 times out of 10, therefore, we will all die on 12 21 12. I'm pretty sure I just wee'd in my pants too.. :icon_snif

It's called sarcasm.
MysterySk8er3 06-06-2008, 11:27 AM It's called sarcasm.
Ya well it's a little hard to tell sarcasm over the internet.
McCrank 06-06-2008, 11:31 AM Ya well it's a little hard to tell sarcasm over the internet.
The big tell tail for sarcasm over the internet is if it looks like he really means it but it sounds really stupid.

I do agree with that. However, (IN NO MEANS IS THIS TO OFFEND ANYONE) a lot of the stuff in the religeous forum I find sounds/is (to me) extremely stupid yet I know most of the people saying the stuff mean what they are saying. So specially in this part of the forum I never know who is being seriouse or not.

It's hard w/o the tone of voice. Luckily there are rarely any sarcasm in this section of the forum and if there is it's really obvious.
FlatlandBran is very obvious.
1. He has "but!" in caps
2. He uses numbers which are so cliché when it comes to these things.

1. = I didn't notice that but it does kinda scream sarcasm.
2. = When I first looked at the numbers I was like wtf. But I was curious so I did the math to what he said and it really did come out to 666 so I thought wow do people really believe in this?
So basically, yea I understand now.
Tyler Self 06-06-2008, 11:58 AM I don't think much of it, but a lot of things in many cultures are coming to interesect here. One more Pope is predicted, the mayans, etc.
Yeah I also read somewhere that the mayans or aztecs (cant remember which) invented the calender or something and every one of their predictions on it for like ever have been accurate and in 2012 were screwed.
I think its bull****.

Me too.
NativeSkater 06-09-2008, 12:46 AM ...Yeah?Apparently you didn't think about it. But it doesn't matter since you don't even have to, they seem like pretty random numbers.

Think about what? You repeating the numbers in the title of this thread preceded by "I just thought about something..." ?
Shadowskater 06-09-2008, 01:09 AM Ask me again in four years and 6 months.
I'm trying to bet my friend $3,000 that it would not happen, apparently he's not falling for it because if I lose the bet then, well, I have nothing to lose anyway so ;)
Boobies 06-09-2008, 02:31 AM I don't think it will happen in 2012. But it's still scary because everything we know and have WILL die out someday, but we do not know when. It's just scary that everything is all coming to an end sooner or late.r
In 4 billion years our sun will exlode and completely destroy earth
that is a fact not some retarted thought
Waggle 06-09-2008, 10:02 AM The date December 21st, 2012 A.D. (13.0.0.0.0 in the Long Count), represents an extremely close conjunction of the Winter Solstice Sun with the crossing point of the Galactic Equator (Equator of the Milky Way) and the Ecliptic (path of the Sun), what that ancient Maya recognized as the Sacred Tree. This is an event that has been coming to
resonance very slowly over thousands and thousands of years. It will come to resolution at exactly 11:11 am GMT.
The astronomer Philip Plait has stated very clearly that the Mayan calendar does not end in 2012 at all, that it is like the odometer on your car, as each section of the odometer reaches 9 and then clicks over to 0, the next number to it starts a new cycle, so that when all the numbers again reach 0 all the way across the odometer - the last number will change from 1 to 2 and the new cycle starts all over again.
On the winter solstice of 2012, the noonday Sun exactly conjuncts the crossing point of the sun's ecliptic
with the galactic plane, while also closely conjuncting the exact the center of the galaxy.
It is not the end of the earth, it is the end of the age. We will be transitioning to the age of Aquarius. When you look at life through a current societal point of view, it is easy to just dismiss and move on with life. But if you look at history with an open point of view, you can see that these "far fetched" ideas actually could make a lot of sense. I don't know for sure what will happen, but around that time there will be some drastic changes in our way of life.
jesus said, no man knows when the time will come, only the father himself knows.
and since jesus is the father there is no reason he couldn't have answered that question.

Ibanez 06-09-2008, 11:42 AM For the last time NOTHING will happen. People said the world will end in 1999 nothing happend. People said the world will end due to the Y2K bug in 2001 nothing happened.
Oh yeah the Mayans say that the world will end in 2012, it has to be true! Well the reason WHY their calander ends in 2012 isn't because its the end of the world but because its the end of the calander cycle not the end of the world. Hell the Mayans don't know when the world will end, as it was said before me, noone knows when the world will end.
Ford Prefect 06-22-2008, 08:02 PM My Calender ends at December 31, 2008!!!!!!! the world's gonna end!
Tyler Self 06-22-2008, 09:54 PM Ibanez, the Mayan's marked the end of the age with a 'new rebirth'. Whatever this means.
I bet the media will cover the story endlessly once January 1, 2012 comes around. Surely, something will happen on that day that will grab major attention. Whether it be an actual event, or just people freaking out, we'll see something. ;)
Ibanez 06-26-2008, 09:51 PM People when will you relize that the end is never going to be predicted! 1999 ring a bell? How about 2000? How about the lame people that said 2001 (due to the saying that there was no year 0). So far 0/3 and when this comes around 0/4!
The "end" that people are talking about is nothing but the end of one of the calander cycle (see the Mayans had 2 calanders). Boy are a lot of dip****s faces going to be red come Dec. 22, 2012 and I want to be the first person there to laugh at them.

No that's my job. I look forward to it every f*cking day! DON'T TAKE IT FROM ME!! :(
iskateniketres 06-26-2008, 11:11 PM i say, its the same thing as 6/6/06, 1/1/2000, 2001. its just some big thing that happens to land upon a date in which a calendar ends. its gonna have the media jumping.
(Ha! i told you 12/21/2012 wasnt real! *big laser beam from space kills everything*) haha
arto-geoff 06-27-2008, 09:20 AM thats the day razz accepts jesus

someone will MAKE somehting happen i bet, just for the skae of it.
or maybe terrorists.
iskateniketres 06-27-2008, 09:52 AM terrorizers
Naive 06-27-2008, 11:14 AM its kind of funny really. i dont take these things too seriously, no need to get all mad and crazy at people who believe all that stuff lol let them think what they want
there will always be people setting dates for rebirths and apocalypses and all that. its like when people make films on the future. old ones they might have set the dates on 2000 and had flying cars and what not, cause it was so far away.
the same happens with the ends of the world, finally the date comes and nothing changes
krookedskater 06-27-2008, 11:59 AM *cough*Y2K*cough*
*cough*06/06/06*cough*
it's all a buncha honky tonky fony bolongea.
Neo IZK 06-28-2008, 11:30 PM Actually that's the date that Earth passes into the "age of Aquarius" (I think it's Aquarius). The Mayans were somehow super good at astronomy and were able to use the stars to determine these hugely insane phases that earth passes through do to it's rotation. Passing into this new phase was a significant event to them, as it was leaving the old age and being reborn into the new age or something. So they ended their calender there, and would probably make a new one for the new age, but instead that all went boom.
I'm pretty sure that's how it goes anyway, I read up a bunch about it a year or two ago, so I've forgotten a bit.
Rhys__skate 06-29-2008, 07:56 AM hey it does add up
TheNoComplyKid 07-21-2008, 11:08 PM December 21st 2012 is the date that the Nibiru star interferes with earths orbit. Look it up on youtube.
