hey guys. I can already drop in on bowls, and transitions, but how do you just ride in? I always see people pump speed, and just ride into the bowl or transition. I dont know what to do.Please help thanks

your trucks have to be very loose for bowlriding, its easier on the curves (otherwise you have to do kickturns all the time & thats not really cruising is it ).

you need to get to know your bowl; where there's bumps & curves, coz thats where you pump to make speed. I usually go up when the curve starts & go down+push a little bit at the end. also, make sure you get soft (& bigger > but thats entirely up to you) wheels, hard street wheels suck in a bowl & they wear down pretty fast too (imo)

also, you need to learn rock to fakie, it comes in handy

I think thats basic bowlriding for ya, once you can do this, you move up

I'll get straight to it. You have to be balenced. You have to be able to recover and flow through the bowl with confidence. You have to be able to forget your fears coz this is a freaky thing to learn.

What you're essentially gonna do is unwieght, bounce over the coping, and land somewhere in the transition. At first you may land about 1/3 or 1/2 way down the tranny but you'll want to bring it up higher later.

First step (what helped me). Find a bump in the pavement and practice kind of rolling over over it, but un-wieght so your back wheels get bounced up into your foot and you do a little hop over it. This hop will happen on the coping so that you don't hang up. Now all thats left to do is visualise whats going to happen and do the same thing on a ramp. By the way, it's much easier to learn this on a miniramp that a vert pool, but thats just common sense. Try it on whatever you're comfortable with.

Aim at the ramp on a slight backside or frontside angle, f/s is generally better but you might not be comfortable. It's very possible to just go straight at the ramp but it will be less smooth.

Get a moderate speed, bounce off the coping and acid drop in. The hardest part is getting the guts. As long as you don't hang up you should be okay.

Good luck.
