I've been skating for about 1 year now. Finally got enough tricks for an almost 2 minute video. I'd love feedback, just don't be all, "You suck!"

Thanks to aronl: His how to videos helped me get into freestyle.
Thanks to Jeremy Elder: For a great freestyle board.

not too shabby.

I would try out a couple rolling tricks but this wasn't too bad.

nice job.

I really like 1:20.

Pretty good, man. All I'd say is try to work on getting your tricks a little more clean. Arm flailing is generally considered unstylish. But overall I liked it!

Good start but do your trucks stick out a bit wider than your deck? You board looks a bit wobbly in rail.

Very good start! You've got some good tricks in there, but yeah just work on getting things a little cleaner and feeling more comfortable and confident when you do your tricks. That's something I'm working on too. Also, a little footwork and a few rolling tricks would make you quite well rounded for a year. But again, very nice start. I look forward to seeing more and seeing you progress! :)

Well I really enjoyed watching that:) Those thricks where the board is flat upside-down, they're very interesting. The only other person I've seen do them is Diane. Is there a name for it?

Videos like these make me sad, cause they make me realize that I'll never be that good when I'm that age :)

GREAT JOB!! You remind me of all the dads on youtube (in a good way) who can still bust out the fs or skateboarding, period.

I really liked the rail combos---they were weird but awesome at the same time!!

Thanks for the feedback. I'm working on getting less wobbly and more control. I figured if I waited til my tricks were cleaner to put out a video then I'd be like 35 or dead.

Last year was the first time I stepped on a skateboard, not literally, and I was 26. I'm a total addict now. Thanks for the support.

Trebor: Hurrah for the white panda deck!

you are pretty good, but it seems you have a bad balance on rails.

Thanks. It's a double kick "Goke." A little too flat and square for me. It doesn't go rail to rail and it is difficult to railflip. Amazing for 50-50s. Jeremy is making me a larger, more rounded hybrid deck to replace that one.

You my dear sir, SUCK!

Well, actually you don't. I really liked those tricks you did to go from upside down to rail. I now know what I'll be doing tomorrow. And that last little rail to rail stroll you did at the end was really cool. But it seems like youre wheels may be a little off from your board, so when you get you're next deck make sure to throw some washers in or something to get it more even, you may notice a remarkable improvement in your balance in rail. Can't wait till I'm decent enough to make a video. But that's probably a ways off...
