I've been trying to learn fakie bigspins, but I just can't seem to. Either I get a 270 rotation and land it and then pivot (not like 270 to a revert, like 270 land, and then pivot over) or I just get 270 and don't land. I can't seem to get the fullspin and I don't seem to rotate my body enough.

As for the 180s I can't do them. Like bs 180s I can do sometimes, but it's hard to get height on my ollie without it shooting out in front of me, and front side I can't fully rotate. Like my body just doesn't want to rotate with the board so I end up doing like a 90 or a 100.

Fakie bigspins.. can you fakie 360 shove? If not; keep trying them and your fakie shove it's; it takes time.

BS 180s.. you don't have to ollie too high, and jsut wtach your feet and try to land bolts andfigure out which way you have to lean so the board doesn't shoot out, like if i;ts shooting out lean forward.

Now FS.. make sure your back foot has jsut your toes and the ball of your foot on the tail and your front foot with your toesand the ball of your foot hanging off of the toe side. Also, make sure you are swinging your arms with the board.

Well keep doing them fakie soves.. I remember I landed my first fakie 360 shove off of a curb, so maybe you could try that?

Lol. I wouldn't. Where I live there are so many sewers, and I don't trust myself. I already lost my best board down there, so yeah. And there really isn't any other place that doesn't have sewers except where it's like those stupid sloped 7 inch long curb ends.

well, in order to be able to fakie bigspin, you don't necessarily have to be able to fakie 3 shuv. i know i couldn't when i learned them :) and as for full rotation, that takes practice, at least you can sometimes land it 270 ^^ here's my advice on it

Foot Position - You want your back toes hanging off of the board a bit, and it helps to use the nose of your board (i think). front foot, i just put it in the middle of the board, like an ollie, or wherever you're comfortable, because it doesn't have any part in this trick.

Preparation - You need to wind your arms up a bit, and turn your body fs. this will help you to swing around and rotate

Execution - Make sure your feet are in the correct position. pop/scoop your board for the shuv, and at the same time, swing your arms with it a bit so your body follows. it'll take practice with the wind and everything, so don't stress about it not working at first if you have problems.

:::: TROUBLESHOOTING ::::

a. I only went 270 what's wrong?
---you need to scoop more, and make sure you swing your arms with it!

b. My body won't go with the baord what's wrong?
---you gotta turn good, looking over your left shoulder (if you're regular) may help, as its easier to spin like that.

c. the board just shoots out whats wrong?
---you tried too hard, most likely. if you just spun it and your board went spinning away on the ground, you definitely tried to hard. you may be scared, you have to just pop/scoop, but you have to find out how much you need to get the right rotation. once you're used to it, it's insanely easy, the scoop feels liek less than a shove's scoop!

have fun! hope i helped

Yeah, let us know the results when you get in.

I have been able to BS 180s for like.. 4 months, and I don't remember doing much of an ollie with it. I do now, but never when I started. Same with frontside. But try it, if not, try just popping the board and keeping it under you until you get the full 180.
