View Full Version : Great news!
Callum Bowran 06-08-2008, 12:11 PM A section of an email I got from Lillis:
Subject: Reverse decks and wheels
Body: We are finally working on them! and the lillis graphics will almost be
the same, but a new colorsceme. and the hat is gone...
Finally all of you who've wanted to try the Lillis or Cooper will get to be able to! :icon_clap
As far as i'm aware, the shape's exactly the same. I can say that I, for one, am excited, and I feel Dylan shall be aswell... anyone else?

I hoped really the cooper model would be improved :(
sniff my first freestyle deck :icon_snif:icon_snif:icon_snif
lamefreestyler 06-08-2008, 12:24 PM I look forward to it. I hope Lillis import some decks n wheels so I can buy from him here in Sweden ;)
arling777 06-08-2008, 01:01 PM That's the strangest thing ever! I had a dream last night that I was skating somewhere and another freestyler approached me and skated with me, and he rode a Reverse deck!
Are Reverse decks of particularly good longevity?
johnny16tx 06-08-2008, 01:07 PM lillis has been riding his for over a 2years or something like that
arling777 06-08-2008, 02:02 PM 1 deck....for 2 years?
aronsamma 06-08-2008, 02:39 PM hooray!
Callum Bowran 06-08-2008, 04:34 PM Yes indeed, he's been riding the same deck since before NASS of 06.
hopefully the exchange rate doesnt kill me
Eh? You know Reverse is an American company right?
Tim-A 06-08-2008, 05:20 PM did he say when they would be available
Callum Bowran 06-08-2008, 06:34 PM I'm trying to find that out for myself. I'll let you know when I find out.
I have found out that the new colour scheme is brown, orange and yellow though...
jmaiurro 06-08-2008, 07:02 PM Woohoo! Ive wanted to ride a Lillis ever since I saw one. I really like the old colors, but I can't say anything about the new for I havent seen it yet.
johnny16tx 06-08-2008, 08:41 PM Yes indeed, he's been riding the same deck since before NASS of 06.
Eh? You know Reverse is an American company right?
i acturally thought reverse was over seas =P
Callum Bowran 06-09-2008, 09:14 AM Well there's another pleasant suprise for you then!
I really like the old colors, but I can't say anything about the new for I havent seen it yet.
I too really like the old colours. I don't feel Brown's going to look that great, but then again I don't know what section's what yet... trying to get some images from Lillis and Lynn.

Got something from Lillis. I assume it's an emalgimation of all the screens as bits go over the sides and the exact shape's not there.. but this'll give you a general idea of what it'll look like.
<EDITED OUT>
aronsamma 06-09-2008, 11:20 AM those colors really work. pretty sexy
arling777 06-09-2008, 11:23 AM I'm definitely getting one.
johnny16tx 06-09-2008, 11:42 AM WOOO
tis the sexy
arling777 06-09-2008, 12:06 PM Let me rephrase that...I'm definitely getting that after I try the eastbilt harward, provided that I decide I like single kick flat better than single kick concave.
FightFlyCrow 06-09-2008, 12:13 PM What are the demensions of the new one?
Callum Bowran 06-09-2008, 03:39 PM Same as the old one:
Width: 7 3/8
Length: 28 1/4
Nose: 5 1/4 (flat)
Tail: 5 3/4
Wheelbase: 12 1/4
When I get my hands on one I'll take a picture next to the old one to contrast and compare.

An email from Lynn!:
The new decks should be ready in about three weeks, I hope. I am working on the wheels still.
Three weeks kids! Better start saving your pocket money.
mlowe 06-09-2008, 04:05 PM Wow i love the new colors i kinda miss the wizard hat though but im sure to be looking to purchase one of those fine looking pieces of glorious wood.
Callum Bowran 06-09-2008, 05:44 PM Please can a mod delete the picture on the previous page of the new Lillis design, this isn't the final design and Lillis has asked me not to show anyone for various reasons... sorry guys.
arling777 06-09-2008, 08:08 PM I'm kind of ready to try a slightly bigger FS deck too. Maybe it's just getting worn out, but my Morris is starting to feel...not good. I feel like the tails too small.
Callum Bowran 06-10-2008, 03:24 AM I don't know what size tail the Morris is, but I do know that it's steep. Having steep tails creates the illusion of shortness. The lillis has a 5 3/4" tail, but it feels slightly longer in comparison to other freestyle decks because of the angle of the kick.
