I've been collecting music for about as long as I've been skateboarding, about 21 years. I started with cassettes, then switched to cds. I have some vinyl too.

I have online friends who have WAY bigger music collections, tens of thousands of albums.

Why have three albums, when you can have every album?

OK Computer - Radiohead
Animals - Pink Floyd
Axis: Bold As Love - Jimi Hendrix Experience

If you can find a flaw in any of these albums then you must be some kind of genius or idiot.

Animals is incredible, you can't not like Animals. Every tracks a timeless classic imo.

It was that or Wish You Were Here. I chose Animals as its longer and i bared in mind the fact that i'd be listening to these songs forever.

jimi hendrix - axis: bold as love
mahavishnu orchestra - birds of fire
pat metheny trio- bright sized life

and as backups, incase the cd's broke
Radiohead- ok computer

Nice picks, .snOWFalls.! Based on its company, I'll have to check out Muse - origin of symmetry since I am unfamiliar with that group.

Dark Side Of The Moon- Pink Floyd

1. Kid A - Radiohead (It will be the perfect soundtrack for me slipping slowly into madness from only being able to listen to 3 records.)
2. Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band with an added Strawberry Fields single - Le Beatles (For something I have to listen to for the rest of my life, I know that I will never get tired of the Beatles.)
3. Oh, Inverted World - The Shins (No great reason here. It's just one of my favorite albums.)
