Seeing how there's a beer thread, I thought it only right to have a thread showing the vessels in which the beer is drunk from! Post your own favourite personal beer glass.

Here's mine:

Camara not werking right now, but I have a Guinness glass I've been enjoying ale and other brews for the last quarter century. (Bought)it in England and haven't broken it yet!!!

Forget that! I only drink from a glass when it's on tap. I like it straight from the bottle (and no cans!) and at it's freshest - you know, right after you pop the cap off? That moment. ;)

I DO have a collection of glasses and shot glasses from various countries, bars, and places though. Some favourites are a Margaritaville, Montego Bay glass, and a Hard Rock Cafe, Louisville KY beer glass.

This thread made me realize that I have to buy a beer glass when I go to Italy. I'll post up a picture when I get back. :)

Nothing like a nice icy mug. To me, it's actually preferable to have a slightly smaller mug. If the diameter isn't so large, the mug can get cold enough to freeze a thin layer of ice on top of a cold brew being poured into it.

You are right about bottle beer, Hate cans myself. But a good Guinness in a glass, even if it came from a bottle looks good in a glass. Does Louisville have any micro/ local breweries? Need to make a trip up in my old stomping grounds! I lived in Shively and PRP way back in the late70's early 80's.sorry about rambling....SKATE ON

Home sweet home. :)

Dixie highway has a few bars on it, a good one is down the road from Valley High School, by the bowling alley. The name escapes me however.:icon_snif I might just have to stop in there and see a few old friends in order to find the name out for you. If you want of course.

There is a few in the west end, you might just have a look around.

I'm going to go ahead and cast my vote for straight from the bottle, no cans, unless it's on tap at the bar.
