I was bombing down this hill about 20mph (i'm guessing), I hit a rough patch in the road, got speed wobbles, and ate **** so bad. Road rash on both arms, both hands, my left hip (down to the bone), bruised the **** out of my left arm and hip, and broke 1 finger. Lucky as hell I didn't break my arm.
So, umm, what major falls happened to you guys?

Pain is just weakness leaving the body. It comes with the job pretty much. The only bad fall I've had was coming down with my elbow at a right angle, and it slammed directly into the cement.

it's my left ring finger which is now in a splint and buddy-taped to my pinky, so i'm typing with 8 fingers.

i was the bigest loser when i fell and scratched my knees just before the @last bell@ +))

Bypassing the language filter is a no-no.But yesterday when i was trying to ollie a deck my back truck hit the board and i got a huge bruise on my hip and a huge cut in my knee.

And I heard you man, bruised hips suck. You can't just walk them off.

freakin i hit my head so hard one time.
everytime it rains i get a little puddle in the front of my drive way and i skate it.
i tried a bs 180 just messin around and didn't even spin half way and just flew back.

lol yeah, it is pretty funny to watch, but at that moment my elbow killeddddddd.

lol yesterday i dislocated my middle finger completely side-ways. Then i snapped into place, hurt like a mother but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do. And as for major injuries? I broke my arm skating once. Thats about it.

that happened to me but it was off a stage. it was like...

atleast 5-6 feet high.
i hit trucks just like you, and i slammed it down too,

i had a huge bruise on the bottom of my foot i couldn't skate for around 2 weeks.

right when i got better i started learning over crooks and rolled my ankle :/

i was going down a bank to ollie about a 4 foot ledge (its like a warm up for me) and my back foot slipped off, did the splits and almost broke my ankle.

but karma...i dont recall me doing anything to get that fall, but oh well. that wasnt recent though so maybe i did do something to deserve that haah, it was too long ago.

I fell bombing a hill in june and broke my finger haha. I flip and landed on my hand. I never bombed a hill since than haha. I had so many cuts all over myself. I wish i filmed it haha.

wow that looks like your feet would just explode and split in half...that happened to me on a three and i got a boo boo on my elbow :(

yup if you look closely my right eblow broke my fall so yeah...that hurt like i said before but na my feet didnt explode and they didnt split in half...matter of fact my feet didnt hurt at all after that fall, just my eblow.

ive had to many to name but mabe worst was falling on my shins ona 50-50.

And last week I was riding my back down this really big hill and my skatebaord was on the handle bars, and then it fell off and my bike flipped and I ate cement/grass...but, luckily, no broken bones and only my legs hit the cement, my face hit dirt and grass.

Worse fall would have been when I fell over and grazed my knee probably.

a kid cut me off at the skatepark and made me fall all the way down the ramp to flat and i couldn't skate for 3 months because i had a bone bruise in my hip.

haha.. mine was first week of last August. Hillbombing a hill I had rode tons of times + no safety gear (never again, always wear your helmet). Hit a large rock or some other obstruction while fully tucked in and the board was ripped from under my feet; all I could do was twist so I'd land as sideways as possible - didn't have enough time to get all the way around, and faceplanted on the pavement, rolled and slid to a stop god knows how far down the road from impact. I remembered going down, then getting up on down the road. The large patch/pool of blood with splatter on the road up the hill a bit showed the area of impact. I spit out some teeth and pieces of teeth (3 front ones, top) and realized my head/face was bleeding and my lip was torn up my face a bit. My hands, arms, back, shoulder, and left leg was road rashed to the point of being charred black; didn't really hurt, just felt cold at the moment and I could feel the blood trickling down my body. I was alone so I looked for my board, picked it up, and walked back up the hill to where everyone else was (out of sight, they didn't see my fall). Cleaned up a bit, which was kind of futile for all the blood and pieces of blacktop stuck in my face and arms, etc that had to be removed. Grabbed a huge wad of towels and got the ride to the Emergency Room 20 minutes away. Got stitched up there and cleaned up more detailed. I was lucky I didn't lose my eye since the road rash was all the way to the eye lid on that side.

After all of that was finished I went to get all of my medicines at the wal-mart pharmacy and I was still wearing my blood-splattered and torn up clothes so I got a TON of looks, lol! So many people asked me how I "wrecked my motorcycle" then absolutely freaked when I told them I did it on a skateboard. I got a lot of "HOLY **** DUDE THAT'S HARDCORE!!" comments, lol. I wasn't upset at all the entire day, I was just happy I didn't break anything, and was able to be laughing about it from the time it happened to the present. =P

Since this was kinda crazy, I figured I'd post a couple pics of me when I got home from the Emergency Room and stuff later that evening:

:D I wish my friend had taken more photos, especially right after it happened so you could see me before I was all cleaned up and fixed.

I have some fake teeth now, and you can't tell I ever knocked them out - they look great, and actually better than before (perfectly straight).

Yea I hate getting hurt and not having it filmed. Lol. it makes it seem pointless, like you got hurt for nothing.

so sorry about your arms bro, that really blows, hope it gets better soon, and i havent really had any major injuries, just some bumps and bruises.

biges ive evr had was doing the splits after a moving ollie try and getting slammed into by my friend

I worst injuries include:

A face-plant over a small pebble as i was tearing down the sidwalk (mucho blood-o for such a small cut)

A slide-out munch it, as I was also tearing down the sidewalk, but this time it was one of those slick ones :(

A pulled hamstring (or achillies tendon?) just by pushing! I couldn't skate for a 2 weeks :(

Ahh I havent done too much, I tore something in my knee and now it hurts when I bend it but I've been pretty lucky

Today, riding up a quarterpipe to just come down with different footing; my front trucks decided to hang on to the top of the pipe.
Gravity had other plans for me.

i tried shuvving a 4 stair for the first time. i landed on the nose going a decent speed. so the board stops and i go flying scraping across the concrete. i bruised my hip, scraped up my shoulder and elbow. and then there was another time where i ollied of a ledge, fell, and put my hand down into a rock. the rock was halfway in my hand O_o

I just had one of the biggest spills ever in 20 years of skating. I was bombing pretty fast back home on a dark sidewalk, tired from a session I was having so I was just really relaxed. Came to a blind intersection and was checking for traffic when BAM! Board stopped and I went flying. Hit my head and just about everything on the left side of my body. Ended up with a broken 7th rib.

I would like to say my injury was from a 8 set and I was doing a bs nollie 180, but I am BAD at lying....:)

i was riding down my street into a court connected to a bike. i was holding the string. then when i reached the court we went in and went in going really fast. we were going so fast i dont even know how fast. but as we took a turn around the court my friend took to sharp of a turn so i flew over this car and my side on the spoiler and my friends board came with me. it hurt and i couldnt skate for like a week cause i hurt my leg.

too many times.
i cant skate right now since i just popped my knee... i fell, landed awkward, my knee popped (about to dislocate)... within the next couple of min, my knee swelled up 3x its normal size.
its been over a week, knee is back down to size. im able to walk and stuff, but skating aint going to happen for a bit

Worst fall Ive had was about April, My friend and I were going down a hill to this school we like to skate at. I hit a bad part of ground and got major speed wobbles, I flew off but my body shut me down (I blanked out before I even hit the ground) so my friend described it, hit the ground on my side, rolled over kinda like a bouncy ball, smacked the back of my head and rolled a bit more. The part I remember after that is being in the middle of the road facing down. There was a bruise on my right hip, a cut on my back which is now a scar, and my knees and elbows were all scratched up.
