I need help deciding.....what to do for my summer. If I do football that will help me out during the school year and I can chill with my friends that I don't see anymore. OR I could choose to skate all summer long and also I am currently playing a game of skate right now :( can you guys help me decide. I am gonna be to tired after football camp to skate so...

well bro, it's really up to you. if you go to football camp, depending on when it gets out, you could set some time aside to skate, and that way you can have some of both ;)

or you could just choose one or the other, though that would be a tougher decision. it's up to you man :) depends what you really wanna do

what are you more passionate about? my school's football camp goes from monday-thursday, from 1pm-3pm. it all depends, if you have camp like that, you still have 3 days a week to skate, and mornings

I was going to say both, but when you said you'd be too tired after football camp I automatically considered it a brain teaser lol. Maybe you could skate this summer and go to football camp next summer or vice versa.

like everybody else said focus on what you would rather do more. How is the format of your camp though. and when you say your going to be too tired after it to skate, you mean at night? or after its over. because if you mean after its over, thats just weird..

i personally am not that fond of jocks, but since u also skate im sure ur not a jerk like most jocks. i had the same question asked to me a few weeks ago about whether to go to summer camp for football, but i was just like "**** that" and sticked to skating and im glad i did. imo, id rather be out skating all day and getting hott doing what i want to do, and doing things my way, than be out on a field listening to a coach yell at me and be tackling a bunch of other hott sweaty guys LOL. but yeah if it were me, id deff skate, but man its all ur preference

football will probably get you farther, if you are good at it... i never heard of anyone getting a skate scholarship to a college, lol..
(not that skateboarding can't take you places in life, but i think you have a better chance at getting a payout from football than skating)
but seriously, if you love both, make time for both. it's possible.

Ya guy's sorry I posted this thread but I've been getting some helpful suggestions :)

i played football practice like all last summer and i would always skate the whole day before haha. it was tiring. but it was good cuz id get home at like 8:30 and then eat and fall right asleep. but i decided recently that im not going to play high school football as a freshman next year cuz practice started the day summer started and i never was really any good at football so i decided id much rather skate anyways :D

I like to play football though but I like skating by far. I need the college credit though :) and my grades aren't that good =/
