Ok, at Chat-Town Skatepark they are having a celebration for go skate day
National ‘Go Skateboarding’ Day Celebration, Saturday, June 21st:
The City of Chattanooga’s Chattown Skate Park will host fun activities to celebrate National ‘Go Skate’ Day on Saturday, June 21st. Festivities will begin with a Street Parade of Skaters and Skate Boarders at 10:00 a.m. starting from Riverfront Parkway at Power Alley (behind the At&T Stadium). The parade will proceed down Riverfront Parkway to Main Street, on to Carter Street, and to the Skate Park. For this Saturday, the Chattown Skate Park will have FREE admission for all skaters, contests, games, prizes, music, food, and entertainment throughout the day.
The skate park’s summer hours are noon to 10:00 daily. On Saturday and Sunday mornings the park is open at 10:00 a.m. for skaters 10 and under and beginners. For more information call 757-2076.
