Buy the friends board because that way instead of just a deck you get everything else for the same price as one deck.

check for tension cracks, there near the hardware on the griptape, and see how bad the razor tail is. Anyways, even if the board is pretty beat up, if the wheels and bearings and trucks are still good, then its well worth it.

I'd buy that! Pretty what I've got; a DNA board, spitfire wheels, reds, etc. Love it! I say go for it, that's a great deal and if it's in pretty good shape that's like half price.

that's a pretty good deal if the deck is in good shape. it's not cheap to buy a full complete so i'd buy it just to have the extra trucks, wheels, bearings, and hardware to have around.

How's your trucks and wheels? I'd go with just getting a new deck. If you are not riding independents now, and you buy your friends board, you may not like those independents, and in turn, put on your trucks from your Blind board. Then, thinking about it, you just paid $45-$50 for a used AWS Deck, and that ain't cool

unless you want top notch new stuff (who doesnt?) i'd say go for the neighbors board
