Just keep your weight centered. Thats really all there is to boardslides.

It is a little bit of common sense. lol

lean to far back = fall backwards off of your board
lean to far forward = face smash on rail

Go very slow when doing the fronts first. Go for the end of the rail. Once you get yourself on slow, after maybe 30 minutes to an hour of trying, you will learn to center yourself. I usually didn't put enough weight on my front foot.

Make sure to lean back too, usually you'll lean too far forward and slip out.

Once you get comfortable going very slow and just hitting the end, you will eventually be able to go fast, and clear more of the rail.

Just try it, I don't really have any tips but to tell you to try it on a small rail, like the lowest setting if you have an adjustable one.

for fs get used to turning backwards on the rail. make sure to be going a pretty good speed(enough to slide), and keep your weight centered like ripbobmarley said.
