Well I have got a few of the kids together to start the team. I took some pictures of them in action. Got a nice 2GB memory card to get clear shots of them doing tricks HOWEVER it said the file was too large when I tried to post them.
As soon as I can figure how to get them down in size, I will post them. REALLY nice shots of a few tricks
Hey I can send the files if someone can shrink them to size, maybe a moderator?

Ampx, I really appreciate the positive feedback. I am pulling my hair out trying to reduce the size of the pictures. LOL :icon_peac
All I am trying to do is give these kids an area to have fun and skate the day away. There are SO MANY kids in my area that love to skate. I am at this park almost everyday with my skateboards and letting them just run wild around this basketball court.
The REALLY funny thing is that I am ready to go back to work, and now my work place is telling me I have no job there. So if the severance and unemployment can hold me over the summer, then the kids will have my undivided attention.
Another issue with them, is trying to convice them I am not a pervert or pedophile. Not all of them have this fear, but I live next door to one of the girls that hangs around the park. She has known my mother and father since she was three years old. I am always skating with them, if I haven't given all my boards to the kids to ride. Another point is I have never tried to get them to come to my house or go anywhere.
Heck I told several of the kids that the parents will have to come along to the other parks, because I am not going to be responsible for 10-15 kids and having one of them getting hurt or robbed.
I also try to tell the kids were are not going around to compete. We are all about having fun and skating at the other parks. That is what skating is all about, making the most of your time on your deck and skating like there is no tomorrow.
I want to give some Kudos to Z Sports Dist. Mark Z is helping me out alot to get this started, and the fellow is an upstanding dude.
I have taken alot of your advice and might start with a small shop out of my house. Keep several deck, trucks, wheels, etc. Then I can sell them to kids around the area. Start with blank, then work up to Speed Demon, SMA, Bulldog, and Dogtown.
Really sad thing that Z Flex closed it's doors. I have a Green Jay Adams Z Flex that I had no idea was a limited edition. The Green was for the Troops in Iraq, and only 50 were made. I am taking off the trucks, and hanging it up on my wall!

Fallen,
If either you or anyone in the forum can help reduce the size of the pictures, send me a PM with your email address and I will forward the pictures for you folks to post on my behalf.
I just reduced the size of pictures of my skateboard that I have, and you can barely see them.
They came out GREAT, like professional quality. Good thing I used a 2GB memory card for that and used a UV filter to get a crisp picture.
I might try to post them on my space if they will show larger.

mate try saving them as either a jpeg or a .png file, and use something like photoshop to reduce the actual dimensions, i'd do it for you, but i dont have photoshop anymore

www.imageshack.us is a great photo uploading website.
You dont need to make a profile there, but if you do it saves all your uploaded pictures forever. For each picture you upload it gives you several different 'addresses', one of them is a thumbnail code you can just copy and paste into the forum. It makes the forum picture small, but you can click on it to see the full size, full quality photo.
