Hi everyone, I been skating for only a week now :P I know that's not much but anyways, need help with my ollie skating!!
I saw films on YouTube how to do the ollie trick, I have been trying for a week now, but I can't get my back of the deck up in the air?
I'll be glad if there were any ways to improve my Ollie :)
Actually, I don't really know the size of my deck, but what will you guys sugiest for a 14 years old?
Thanks, Lauritz

Have your back foot on the middle of the tail and your front foot either in the middle of your board or near the bolts that's where i usually have my foot. Then bend your knees and have your weight centered over the board. Then pop the tail with your back foot and as soon as you pop the tail you want to slide your front foot to the nose of your board to level it out. After that just land it.

Since SkaTa4LyFe352 pretty much explained the obvious and told you what you most likely already knew, I'll clarify. The reason you're not getting your tail up is becuase you don't understand how to pop your board. When you pop your tail, use your toes. Don't pop flat footed. You can stand off and next to your board and pop the tail and see how it works if you need to.
And your age has nothing to do with it, it's all personal preference.
pop with your back foot, bring it up, and slide up with your front foot right after. just keep practicing as much as you can and youll get it.
i find that having your foot at angle helps too. DON'T just keep your foot perpendicular to the board. (that makes it spin sometimes)
