What is better. normal grip. or coloured.

idk i wanted to get colored but my sponsered friend was all like "omfg dont even get that **** it makes u look like a posing fag" lol so idk. I stuck with the black one... now getting black tape with a design is something different ;)

It isn't the color that makes it last long, it is the quality. I really like MOB and Black Magic griptape. Jessup is overrated. It peels like a *****.

normal griptape. i don't care for colored griptape. the element griptapes are pretty cool looking though. the only griptape ive ever had was jessup, and ive had black magic, true grit, and element griptape once. griptape is griptape.

color is just a litle too much. its all preference though. i would get black with a cool little logo or design on it or sumthin

Black magic works really great. lasts long and is super grippy. My red grip lasted only a little while

hahah, one time i was watching "How It's Made" and one of the things that they showed the production of was sand paper...
so i was watching it and whatever... and at the end of the production, it showed different machines cutting the sand paper into different shapes, and one shape was for griptape... i just thought it was funny.... i bet all the classic black kinds are made in the same factories.....

If you have colored grip and someone calls you a poser just pop a clean tre and be like i am a poser lol.

I think normal griptape last's longer than color, but in my opinion i like normal.

The dyes used to colour griptape weaken the adhesive holding the sand to the top of the grip, so it wears out faster.

Just get black grip and cut it or something.

that is my most favorite grip in the whole world

ive had it on three different boards
the skulls on the side are less grippy so they make flicking kickflips alot easier for me

ive heard that full color griptapes are less grippy than plain black
i would still use some though i think red griptape on a white board would be awesome

i agree it doesnt matter about colored vs black. i just always get black and then go find a sweet stencil to make it cool
