I've been given the odd tip on this trick before, but its just totally kicking my ass. I just really have no idea of the technique or motion I should be doing. Sometimes the board lands in rail, but I'm more likely to be signed by Warner Brothers than I am to land anywhere near it.

No, the one you're talking about. I really use this method for both ways. Have a shot at it.
