I don't mind it, I don't think there's that much vig compared to what i've seen before. I can zoom in but when i do it almost doesn't look like a fisheye.

take it out of widescreen and the vig wont look so huge,

He means, Go to like your menu/Options on the camera find the widescreen thing and get rid of it, Also if you have a camera with steady Aim take it off, It will make the rings at the end of the fisheye lens shake less

I would save up money and just get a DVX. The only reason i skateboard is to pass time in the summer to get back to snowboardig. No you don't know why the vig is there. Okay sure get a DVX100b, it don't matter, you won't know what the heck to do but okay. Shoot I won't even know what the heck to do. I'll stick to VX1 Mk1, little vig but it looks beautiful and wonder wideness. DVX with a Mk2...ew horrible vig. trust me. W/e, when i said that it doesnt look like a fisheye in 4:3 it was because my friend had the damn camera zoomed in. That was why i said i was going to cnotinue to shoot in 16:9. And when i said i knew why the vig was there i was talking about when you said its the inside of the fisheye.
