View Full Version : Should I have my bearings pressed?

I just put togehter a board for the first time. The bearings I just pushed into the wheels using the truck axle. However, when I was putting the wheels on the trucks I accidently over tightened one(someone told me getting em really tight at first will help push bearings in). It took me an hour to untighten, but now that one wheel seems to have more spin, and it has that "bearing whir". The rest don't seem the same. Am I imagining things, or should I take the rest to have them pressed in good?

I dont exactly understand loll

Is it a wheel problem or bearing?

If its bearing

Make sure the nuts arent so tight so it doesnt have friction between the bearings and the axle nut.

Make sure the bearings are fully in the wheel hole.

Its a bearing problem. The nuts are on normal now(friction and all). I'm not sure they're in the wheel well completely.

make sure theres a gap between the bearings and the nut.
