My school had a "battle of the bands" And I was in it. It was seriously the best freaking time ever. There were so many things going on, mosh pits and crowd surfing. And the music was great, it wasn't just like a single genre, there was rap, jazz, blues, rock, metal. It was the best way to end the school year. I just felt like telling everyone for some reason. It was insane. I have a cd of some of the bands that played, but they sound so much better live.

The first mosh pit was started by a band of 2 guitarists 2 violinist 1 drummer and 1 basest. They were playing mozart, and it just took off there, it was insane.

awwww i wish my middle school had something like that. it would kick ass. but maybe high school will be different.

Sounds gnarly. My high school had a battle of the bands, but too many bands chickened out after finding our my friend's band was playing.. so it just turned into The Blue Rhonda concert instead of battle of the bands because no other bands made it.

Sounds like fun.
