He doesn't need to worry about popping the board high if he is just no learning it.

Just try not to turn your body and bring your knees up a bit.

aries and rae always like giving advice on tricks they have never landed... so you might just want to ignore their little "trick tips"

just kick straight out with your front foot and suck your feet up until you see the griptape come back then stomp your feet back down

It does matter if the advice you give out is wrong. And how would you know its wrong if you haven't landed one? (Not saying yours is, just pointing out why you shouldn't give advice on things you, yourself can't do.)

the best tip for these is to not lean over so much. stay straight, and jump up. not forward.

slide itout where the concave starts with the side of your foot

Make sure you keep your shoulders parallel over the board, because if you twist it will screw up the trick. Jus take your time, don't rush when you're flipping and it will come eventually :)

ok, i'll try and help you out with this trick ;) fun one when you get it down

Heelflips

Foot Position---

for the heelflip, you want your front foot in the middle-ish of your board, ball of your foot on the edge of the deck; toes hanging off. Your back foot should be any where its comfortable, like the ollie position.

Execution---
You're going to pop it just like an ollie, and right afterwards, when you hear that nice little pop sound, you're going to flick (and here i will stop to explain about this.)
---
its not guaranteed that you flick the same way as someone else. some people say to flick out at the concave, others say just down. while on kickflips, if you just kick down, you "mob it" i kick down on my heelflips but they're really clean, they're high sometimes, if i try, and they look good. you'll have to experiment with either way that you want to flick. so now back to the trick tip. you're gonna flick whichever way you have figured out is best, and jump BACK a bit, like a front shuv. many people just flick it and it lands behind them because of this.

::::TROUBLESHOOTING::::

a. i land upside down on my board, whats wrong?
--you probably didn't pop it enough. most people would say you didnt flick enough, but relaly, if youdont pop it good, you cant spin it. try to really snap that tail down, and give it a hard flick.

b. the board lands in back of me, just behind my heels, but fully rotated, what's wrong?
--you have to slightly jump BACK on this trick. where do you have to jump? where? again! where? ok. good, so do it. jump back. its not like a CRAZY huge jump, just a bit, to keep you over your board.

c. i can't get my front foot back on, whats wrong?
--you have to flick, and RIGHT after the flick you gotta get that front foot back in the air, suck your knees up, so that you can get your feet back on there!

d. i can't get my back foot back on, whats wrong?
--you have the front foot down, good, flick, spin, land. but you're forgetting something. when you pop, you gotta lift that back foot STRAIGHT up, so that when your board is done sp inning, youc an stomp it :)

hey, i hope i helped you, let me know if i did man!

good luck!

You have to flick only with your ankle and not your entire foot, or else it'll fly out in front of you. Oh, and don't dip your head in.

Heelflip are really easy once u have the RIGHT technique, the best advice i can give is when I first started in the first week i kept on doing that and i think u just need to jump more and judge ur landing thats what i did n its super easy now

Keep your shoulders pointed in the direction you are traveling when you pop it. It's much more awkward getting your front foot back on as opposed to a kickflip. It takes muscle memory which is a result of practice.

Practice bro!
