Cool, I love seeing Paderborn footage, a lot of the guys you see compete don't always put videos up too often and it's good to see what they are doing. Also didn't Sebastian almost beat Gunter at the last one or something. I know he came within like a point of Gunter's score.

With almost 34 degrees and bleeding hand, i´ve won the vice euro champ titel in Am division ( kinda sounds better than 2nd in am :icon_bigg)

Congratulations man! Much proudness from me to you! haha...second is great and I hope your proud of yourself too. I look forward to that footage and some pictures. It's always great seeing new footage and even more so seeing competition footage.

lol well can you blame Gunther for winning I mean you just cant beat those 50-50 space walks and tuck knee nose space walks I should know considering I saw him last year in vancouver at the world championships haha. Its prob because of him and a few other im skating freestyle today so. Also who are some of these other European freestylers you are talking about like Marco Sassi? never heard of him before.

Marco Sassi is amazing, and this is why the american freestyle scene pisses me off. Europe has such great talent, such as Mario, Marco, Stefan, Kai and none of you know who they are, let alone american companies give them support.

Why does it piss you off that people dont know about skaters that they have never seen?

people just seem content to contain themselves within the world of american freestyle. Joe Flemke, though being a great skater, should not have been the first 'pro' of this generation.

I have never seen any footage of Stephan or Kai(although I met Kai and he is good, but there are lots that a better). I dont see why you are getting up over people not traveling to Europe in hopes to meet a skater. There are tons of people here that I am sure you have never seen skate that are equally as good.

I'm fine with people not travelling, hell i've never been to America, but there does seem to be a general ignorance about european talent. I guess language is the main factor, but certainly the majority of freestyle companies seem to turn a blind eye.

What companies are you thinking of, Sk8 Kings? Thats not the majority thats one team. Jeremy, John Leathers, and Witter all have Europeans on their team. Compare that to Little Wheels. I dont see a divide between sponsorships. Just a lack of spaces for sponors.

^^yeah on Chaos Bros it's pretty much equally split between American and European members.

And just to add to the conversation... I've always thought it seems the European freestyler scene is way more happening than the American scene. It always seems like I'm hearing of demo's or contests or something going on over there and I've actually been a little envious wishing that we had that much stuff and that good of skaters over here to meet up and skate with. Not to say we don't have good skaters here but it just seems like the freestyle scene in Europe is a tighter group of people, that are very talented, and that are actually meeting up and skating together more often that skaters here.

WOW! I'm SO envious of the European freestyle scene. That looked awesome! And SO much talent in one place! One day I'm going to have to visit Europe. My husband and I were actually just talking about vacationing there at some point after I graduate and actually have an income. I said as long as I got to bring my skateboard and meet up with some people to skate. :)
