Skaters Cafe members, welcome to SC edition: Battle of the Baby Pictures 2008!

History: The origin of the Skaters Cafe’s BOBP came into birth when one fateful day, unalive posted a baby picture of himself in the “Pics of yourself” thread and Nick said to him, verbatim, “Brad..I could own you on the cutest baby ever thing.” So the battle started! This will be the first ever Skaters Café: Battle of the Baby Pictures competition. Other members will enter along with unalive and Nick to make things more heated and competitive.

The Arena: In this fierce and wild competition, cafe members must post the cutest baby picture of themself (don't cheat) in the thread. Three judges who will be hand-picked soon enough for the competition will pick only the cutest TEN babies out of the 20 entries. (Note: Judges will not be allowed to enter the contest) After the judges have picked the ten, a poll will be added to this thread for all cafe members to vote for the remaining 10 contestants. Remember, you're voting for the cutest baby, not the sexiest, and it doesn't matter who they are, whether you know them or not. Any favoring you display in voting for certain members just because you are familiar with them or any such way will be shamed upon. If I find that your picture entry is too big, before the poll voting is put up, I will shrink the picture.

Reminder: the entry is to be a picture. Videos will not be accepted. If you have a video, take a screen shot of it, paste it on MS paint, save it, and it will be accepted as a picture. If you have a picture of yourself and do not have a scanner, please try to find someone who has a scanner to scan your picture and upload it on the computer, so that we can see the picture clearer. If you cannot find a scanner in time, use your camera to take a picture of the picture, that will be your last resort.

Requirements:
-Participating members must have at least five dark green bars of rep
-Participating Members must have been active on the cafe for at least the past one month's worth. Ex: You cannot participate as a contestant in this event if you have only joined Skaters Cafe a week ago.
-The picture should be a decent size.
-Members who have successfully signed up for this event can only enter one picture, and in the picture, the oldest a member can be in their entry baby picture is 3 years old. I repeat: No more than three years of age in the picture.
-Your face must be visible in the picture, it is an absolute requirement.

First: We will first start off with sign ups. The event will be consisting of 20 cafe contestants. Everyone who signs up will get one number from 1-20 depending on when you sign up.

When the time comes, please place your assigned number on your baby picture that you choose to enter in the contest. Be sure to pay attention in the thread for further announcements. You will NOT post your picture in the thread until I have said so. You will be disqualified if you have done so before my advisement. If you are going on vacation and you're afraid you won't make it in time to post your picture, PM it to me and I'll post it for you. DO NOT post your picture in this thread if you're going to leave early for a trip, like I said above, you will be pushed to disqualification if you do so. Disqualification will also go to members who post their picture entry in any other thread before the voting. Good luck to all contestants who will participate! I, myself, will also be participating in this special event. Don't miss out!

The Prize: There will be a special prize given out to the winner. The prize will remain anonymous until the contest is over.

Yes he is, guys don't criticize Boobies because he's a good and funny man in many ways...ways that may come off jerk-ish to some of you, but nonetheless, he is straight forward and knows exactly who will go, and who will stay, regardless of who they are. That's right, I'm sticking up for him and that shouldn't make any difference in this competition. He's clean.

Andy, having 20 babies in a poll is too big. That's why we have three judges to pick 10 out of the 20. Then the rest of the cafe votes for the remaining 10.

After all judges have put in their ratings, the contestants with the 10 highest ratings will move to the final round, which is the public poll where all cafe members can vote.

Then the top 3 contestants after the public poll will recieve prizes, but of course, the actual winner will get something more than the second place and third place contestants.
