Ahhhh! My mom won't let me skate the streets around town by myself. It's not like I live in the city, there is practically no crime in my town at all. I don't have any friends that skate so I don't really have a choice but to skate alone. Yeah I'm a girl, but I'm almost 16 so I think I can fend for myself. I don't have a paved driveway to skate, only a cement sidewalk and a garage. My dad doesn't care and would let me go wherever I wanted. What should I do? :confused:

Your mom is in the right IMO. My sister has almost gotten attacked when she was with 2 of her friends, let alone being by herself. Hell, my sister has been touched innapropriately in a McDonalds. (Her reaction was amazing. As soon as the guy touched her, she whipped around, knocked 2 of his teeth out. Most epic win I have ever been so fortunate to witness).
