View Full Version : Hardflip Help with Video ISkateZero 06-20-2008, 04:37 PM http://media.putfile.com/Help-37-96 Thanks. kk360 06-20-2008, 04:40 PM I think you're problem would be that you're trying for a fs flip too much. Concentrate on staying parallel to the board. ISkateZero 06-20-2008, 04:42 PM I think you're problem would be that you're trying for a fs flip too much. Concentrate on staying parallel to the board. Can't get it to spin 180 then. kk360 06-20-2008, 04:47 PM Well you kinda have to push it with your front foot too. You don't flip it like a normal kickflip that may be your problem. Here's one of my switch ones http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJhf8M_PA-w notice how my front foot pushes the board and the back foot helps. ISkateZero 06-20-2008, 04:48 PM I'm confused.. explain more about how you flick. kk360 06-20-2008, 04:50 PM It's kind of a weird flip because you don't really flick at the nose you have to flick before the nose so the board goes fs. It's really weird to explain. Robbie B 06-20-2008, 04:53 PM Keep your shoulders parallel and stay focused, you dont look like you are trying at all. P.S that whip in the back is murdered out. Looks sick. kk360 06-20-2008, 04:54 PM I don't keep my shoulds parallel for normal hardflips cause they flip better that way(for me). And yes like EB said it doesen't look like you're putting a lot of effort in there. ISkateZero 06-20-2008, 05:15 PM Yea, I'll keep trying to pop more. PS. Whip isn't that good actually; it's not mine though. pitabred 06-20-2008, 06:28 PM pop straight down and kind of let it flop onto your foot, then move your foot out of the way after flick........hard to explain but you are close just turn your legs back to normal and jump back and as KK360 said, your flipping it like a frontside flip but it is a little different than that because it doesn't take that much flick |
