View Full Version : Its Time To Get Buff ! :)
well, my main goal over this summer is to get in shape. so my mom paid to get me a membership to this really nice gym. i am hoping to have a nice chest and maybe a 6 pack at the end of summer.
i am also doing it with a friend so were both going to rot each other on along the way.
i already took some before pics. and at the end i am going to take some after pics.
i start on monday. so hopefully this whole "experience" goes well.

and I took a "CITS Weight training" class next.. basically just get credit to work out..

nah, my gym is like really nice.
costs alot monthly, thank god i ain't paying...
FYI, diet is 90% - and make sure you don't overdue it to give your muscles time to heal and grow.
In other words, read-read-read as much as you can and don't make the same stupid mistakes 80% of gym-members make.

I am Tennesseen. I just like the history and singers that come from Jamaica so I have it as the place I live.
Also, I was pretty beestly in 8th grade. I was the strongest at my school, but there were only about 150 7th and 8th graders combined.

I bet I could bench close to that cause in 8th I could sqaut 170, anything is possible. squatting is using your ass and your quads and your hams. combined, they're the 3 biggest muscles in your entire body combined. your pecs are relatively smaller in comparison. so benching more than you can squat, probably not a good bet, haha.

yessir, one time i was at the gym, and some guys were all standing around watching another really buff guy lifting weights - and one of them was threatening the guy lifting the weights that he was gonna smack him in the face with his penis.
i just couldnt stop laughing at them.

Football players like the linemen. Really it was 500 cause I remember the shirts they got for being able to do that much it said 500 Club and showed a bar bell and weights. You don't to believe me, I know cause I seen them and seen their shirts.

even if one person did it, i really doubt there are enough people at your high school to form a club

I'm really into this "fitness" thing and I doubt that someone in your high school could honestly bench press 600, or even 500. I do believe you though that they could've possibly squatted that much. Or maybe they benched A LOT, but 600 is like...ridiculous bro:

I got a 6pac now but its not formed well so I was going to goto the gym to work out instead of simple pushups and sit ups. Me and my friend started 2 weeks ago. I go 4 times a week for 2 hours or so. Then usually skate or something.

2 hours? That is way over working it. All you need is 30 minutes of some good solid lifting, and then you are done. Also, try to get some protein and creatine suplements for better results. I just got a bunch of protein bars and peanut butter at WalMart yesterday.

I'm gonna get buff after i stop drinking so much for celebrations:P no point working out if you're consuming mass amounts of sugar in alcohol:) Also your body metabolises alcohol first before anything else and contains more energy than everything but fat. not healthy lol
