i know this hardly ever happens but just wondering if anyone has been also watching out for events on the net for some freestyle comps.
just wanted to know if there were any planned for this year. Scotland, England or close enough :P

You guys are about three years too late. We used to have annual national championships and jams about three or four times a year, but then the majority of the freestyle scene grew up and got lives.

Pretty much the only thing that happens now is NASS, so you're going to have to wait til' next year, and even then the likelyhood is that it'll only be a demo for you to watch.

That's not to say something couldn't happen again, but the UK freestyle scene has gone from one of the strongest to one of the weakest in Europe. There's generally just not enough interest to justify organising something like that.

Yeah, the sheer fact that only 3 people half posted in this thread kinda says something. Still, I like the idea that it could happen again. I'm not sure how short of brainwashing the next generation of skaters, but still...

lol how do you have an annual comp more than once a year??

i live in england and freestyle i havnt seen no one else in england freestyling before i went to nass this year to see if there were any but there wasnt i think there was in 2006 im not to sure

1) Annual Comp.
2) Jams three or four times a year.
