Hey everyone. I need some help with my blunt to fakies. I can get into the position I need to be in up on the coping, but I always slide off. All help is appreciated.:icon_bigg

well, my friend was teaching them to my other two friends, and he said that when you start, its easiest to pop out like AS SOON AS YOU GET IN. so it's like. pop, stall pop, fakie.

it's just kinda smooth, you know? like.. boom boom boom boom!

idk man, but it helped the other two kids cuz they both learned it now

yeah... its easiest to get into postion to pop out before you get into the stall, so you get out quickly, i dont really know how to explain it, but ill try.
as soon as you get into the stall, you shouldnt be vertical, so your tail shouldnt be flat on the quarter, you should have enough room to pop.
once you pop, level it out as if you would an ollie, to the angle youd be landing on the transition and roll away.

theyre really easy, it just takes some commitment...
its harder to explain than it is to do, lol

aha today, my friend was doing these, but he pwnz them stE-z, so he had me do something to help him out.

i held my board in blunt position on the minipipe, and he rode up, did a blunt on his deck, and jumped sideways (bs) and landed on mine, and popped out ^^ it was sick

Thanks. I'll try that next time I go to my friends to ride his half pipe. I also just got my 50/50 axle stalls down really good on a half pipe =)

This was one of the hardest tricks to commit on for me. However once you get it you wonder why you were scared to commit in the first place.
