id say you have chickenfoot. like youre nervous about landing, it might be subconsicious, make sure you focus on landing, if it helps, hold on to a chair or something and do it on carpet
loool yh like i did it without holding couldnt land it, then whilst holding onto something landed it about 6 times (not in a row :P) but then just cant land it im like soo close but my back foot just keeps missing the tail

I'd say that you're just not committing to it and bailing out in the middle of the ollie. Here's how I got over that. I found a patch of grass and put my front truck in and the back half of my board still on the concrete. This way, you can't slip out but you still get the same pop and feeling you would as you would on normal ground. After you feel confident with your half grass half concrete ollies, take it onto normal ground and eventually down sets and over gaps. Another tip, as soon as you get a good ollie stationary, learn them moving. This is very, very, VERY crucial. Just trust me, you do NOT want to be the kid in the skatepark who stands in one flat spot, not even using any of the skate parks "obstacles." Hope I helped, and the number one thing is COMMITMENT. Just go out and do it, and you have to WANT IT. Have fun!
