It's all really in the person. I learned Nollie 360s before I learned them regular.

Usually though, fakie is easier.

nollie = harder

nollie doesnt always mean its harder if your good at nollie/switch then some tricks are alot easier then doing them regular/fakie example switch fs bigspins which are alot easier then fs bigspin and and nollie lazerflip which i found to be alot easier then fakie lazerflips and its not just me cause i know many people who found these same tricks easier nollie/switch

ok this doesn't make any sense.

nollie is harder. period.

fakie is still in the regular stance.

if nollie is easier than fakie then you are obviously pushing the opposite of what you should be riding.

it doesnt mean that im pushing wrong it just means there are tricks i can do nollie that i cant do fakie hence there easier to do nollie

Yeah Aceofjacks, some people do find nollies easier.

I get what you mean. I can heelflip switch/nollie but can't do it regular. So it makes sense. I guess for me it would be easier to to do it nollie but I've never tried so I wouldn't know. And i figure it would be easier because I can only heelflip switch/nollie.

Indeed usually nollie is harder than fakie.
But for most tricks. I find it easier to nollie than fakie ollie when I am moving. This may be due to my lack of practice of pushing switch (which I can do fairly well), but when you do a nollie, you are in the stance you are usually in with your front foot on the nose, and your backfoot is usually somewhere else other than the tail. Because the positioning of my feet are where they would be when usually pushing, I found it easier to nollie moving.
Sorry for going off topic for a bit, but my point is that nollie is not always harder than fakie.
Especially when I do stuff that go frontside (when frontside and backside are NOT reversed), I found it much easier. I can fakie frontside bigspin, but I can do them a lot more consistently, and cleanly rolling nollie (technically would be backside bigspin, due to rolling nollie). I can also frontside (again, techincally backside) 360 shuvit nollie but not fakie.
Now about nollie big heel being easier than fakie. It's all up to the person. If one has not learned to nollie heel, that person may feel that fakie big heel is easier. In my opinion, I feel much closer to nollie big heel than fakie big heel. But in the end, it is all personal preference.

A trick being easier than another is all up to that person. It is not something us skaters always share in common.
But fakie bigspin heelflip, and nollie bigspin heelflip both are VERY impressive.
Props to you for being able to do them.
I hope to learn them soon too.
Excuse me for my long post.

Wow, I cant believe how idiotic some of you are.

Its personal preference, close the thread.

ok, i understand just doing nollies and fakie ollies.

but guys, listen. most of you posting i assume are new to skating.

even if you feel your nollies are better, that may be false. even if you roll away they may be sloppy or have no height.

in fakie you roll backwards, so its easy to understand that its harder to roll away. but i can bet they look nicer and are higher.

if you truly feel that your nollies are better than your fakie ollies, then maybe you should just switch to your nollie stance, because they shows your best popper leg.

Bigspins and whatnot are usually differnt. As EB said, it's personal preference.

Ollies don't count, cause of couse fakie would be better.

But nollie bigspins and fakie bigspins, some people find nollie easier, some people find fakie.
Like, Flatlandbran finds nollie bigspins easier, and he learnt it first, rather than fakie.

sorry for causing misunderstanding.
But i am NOT a beginner to skateboarding. I can bigflip fairly consistantly, and I have treflips on lock (on my 7.75 not 8, and I have an 8 right now, still getting used to it).
I know fairly lot about skateboarding.
And I never said my nollies were higher than my fakie ollies (refer to my previous post), I said they feel better to do rolling. When I am doing fakie ollies moving, at high speed, it feels harder to roll away.
I TRULY believe my nollies FEEL better than my fakie ollies but I will not switch my stance.
But seriously, It's all personal preferences, so this isn't really something to argue about, and those who has been skating for a while, should know taht some tricks are harder for others, and easier for others.
This should be the end of discussion.

Same here, I do suck at switch.
But on this thread is not about switch flip and regular kickflip. I find it easier to do something nollie that has a shuvit + flip (nollie tre), than nollie flip, but I switch flip is easier for me to flip than switch tre (which I can't even get close to flipping/getting the full 360). Nollie is easier for some stuff, than fakie, or switch. But this thread is about the fakie bigheel, and nollie bigheel, not switch flip, or a regular kickflip.

no offense, but only a true n00b would say something like this.

I can sometimes do them in fakie but i've never really tried them in nollie. However i find nollie varial heels easier then fakie ones so maybe i would find them easier to do in nollie.

I think i'm gonna try them today.

it comes different for different people

find everything bs in nollie easier, like i learned how to nollie bs bigspin and i cant even come close fakie. but i have an easier time doing fs bigspins in fakie than nollie. so id say nollie is easier

Nollie is generally easier than fakie if you're tricking off something, but fakie's easier on flatground, so it depends.
