Has anyone seen the new iLove the New Millenium on Vh1?? I am a fan of the I Love the 70's, 80's, and 90's, and their sequels. If you haven't seen them, each episode summarizes all the pop culture things in a specific year, and celebrities and comedians comment to make it funny. This New Millenium series is summarizing everything that has happened from 2000 until 2007. Anyone watch it?? Its nice seeing them relook at things that have kind of "recently" happened so you can say "I remember that" or "That was back in '04??" lol. I think its pretty cool.:icon_wink

ya i think ive seen the episodes for every year so far. It's entertaining and sorta funny, not like hilarious though. The only thing i hated is that one of the episodes had 10 minute commercial breaks every time it went to commercials.

their funny the first time or so
but vh1 outplays EVERYTHING
theyll show all 7 of them in a row
for a month or 2 straight
just like they do with everything else

Yeah, they do play the new episodes a lot, but at least if you miss a new episode, there are like 1 million other instances where you can have a chance to watch it. Thats probably why vH1 does it, so everyone in the world will see it at least 1 time, lol.
Not a fan of this most recent series. I thought the 70's and 80's shows were great, 90's were a bit of a let down and these new ones have been largely not funny. They seem rushed. I feel like you need a decade to let everything settle, develop nostalgia and see what stands the test of time before you go making a show like this.
Yeah, everything else has been a decade, this is only seven years. just chill.
at the end of the i love the nineties one, somebody made a joke about how the material wasn't old enough - the people they were making fun of were still around doing the same things.
