hi i am getting the Panasonic Gs 320
ive heard it is very good, i just want to know what size fish eye or wide angle lens will fit it, and what kind should i get(brand) im not looking to spend alot, and i dont want alot of vag in it(that ring that shows in the video) and is there a difference in fish eye and wide angle? ive heard u can turn wide angle into a fisheye by turning the inner lens upside down.

You can get a fisheye for a MiniDV camcorder... and the fisheye withh say 37mm thread size. If you want a cheapo searck opteka and kenko, im 90% sure they make a 37mm fisheye. Fisheye gives you a circular effect allowing you to get closer to the object and still being able to see the whole thing. Wide angle ust makes it wider i believe.

lol. why don't you want a lot of VAG for your fisheye?

anyway you should be able to zoom through the vig to get the amount you want

kenko is a good fisheye. Don't shoot 16:9 shoot 4:3 shooting 16:9 will have a lot of vig around the edges and it'll just look horrible. I believe you can just google Windows Movie Maker, and I'm sure something will come up. It's vig not vag by the way. And yes too much vig is horrible. But some is not bad. For example of a vx1 mk1 didn't have the little bit of corner vig you wouldn't have as wide of and angle. So make sure you have some vig, but not too much vig.

vag is a pussy lol.

good one beavis heh

the century optics .3x 37mm fisheye is an option, its expensive but is a much much better fisheye in every way than a $50~ fish

hey dude, i have the panny gs320 also. at first i had a X.43 opteka, it was so good, but i wanted to upgrade. now i have the 320 with a baby death lens, aka MKII, which costs as much as the camera! the gs320 have a 37mm diameter, so you want a lens that has a 37mm diameter as well, unless you want to deal with step up/down rings.

and you dont want a wide angle, wide angle is weak sauce. heres a link to an opteka that will fit your camera:

and trust me, you dont want "vag" on your camera. hahaha!!!! lmao :D

hope i could help

Whats the point of getting a wide angle?

There is almost no distortion on a wide angle lens so filming lines with it is still pointless

Fail.

What if you need a shot to start out wide and zoom in close?

What if you need a shot to start close and zoom out to wide?

Think before you post.

Gs-320 has a thread size of 37. So does a Kenko Fish eye. You'll get vig in both aspect modes so you'll have to zoom in a little bit.
