How many of you guys think that you guys can actually go pro.. I've been wondering since I've seen so many young kids that are good.

There are only two skaters on this entire site that I would consider any where near pro material. There are just so many amazing skaters in the world you have to be pretty special nowadays to be taken seriously.

when i went to a contest yesterday him,hosoi, and timtim were judges
and since my shop was hosting it i got to meet/talk with all of them..
timtim might contact us when he comes back down here to show him around to spots..
but how could i forget to ask sumner about that

i dont think i could go pro. unless i start going big as hell. you have to show that you have balls. handrails arent worth it if you ask me cuz to be put out for 5 months in attempt to land a 50-50 which wouldn't be that satisfying anyway, or just bust out stee-Z tricks on other stuff and flat, i'll just take shredding other things ^^

I would love for it to happen, i mean who wouldn't? But I'm not basing my life around sponsorship.

But i have always thought about saving money up and opening up my own skatepark/shop. Thought it would be awesome.

No way and thats never in my mind when i think of skating i just do it for pure enjoyment, you have to somehow stand out from the rest, have a unique quality that just makes me people go "what the..?" (in a good way of course). There's so many skaters that can skate extremely well but will never get to the big time because they skate too closely to the way of others. Really got to try add a uniqueness to your skating thats my opinion anyway.
Skate for your own personal fun and enjoyment, set goals but don't aim to stupid heights. That way you can never be disappointed! And if sponsorship or even pro level happens it'll be beyond your wildest dreams, which would obviously just make the feeling a whole lot more thrilling!

Nah, maybe some sponsorship so I wouldn't have to pay for skatestuff. Proffesional skateboarding isn't for me. :)
