yeah...
I just got an Ibanez iceman so i decided to finally try to put a killswitch on my old SG. It was surprisingly easy, the hardest part was just making the hole big enough for the button.
so has anyone else got a killswitch?

I have an iceman as well I just turn the volume knob down. Theres no real reason for a switch and I'll be damned if I cut my iceman. I love it to much.

I have one. But all Les Paul's already have one.
And for all you n00bs, Randy Rhoads uses a killswitch in the intro here.
And for all you people that know what you're doing, enjoy. :)

The best example of a Killswitch is Jordan by Buckethead. He uses it a lot in that song.

this is the first time ive heard of a killswitch. so all it does is just mute the sound of the guitar when you press it?

You know your hardcore when you need a killswitch.
I don't think i need one, i have no need for it. Do you acctually use for practical reasons, like in a song, or is it just there for the sake of being there?

I think it's something cool you can use when you're writing or just playing random stuff, but nothing that you really need. I would want one on my guitar just to be there.
@Sheckler: Not all Les Pauls have kill switches, although you can change the volume on your pickups so that one of them is at 0, then just switch pups really fast and it's like a killswitch except less practical. You can do this on any guitar with multiple volume controls though.

I would love to have one, but don't know how to solder, and don't want to **** up my guitar.
