Riley Hawk, Tony Hawk's son for all that don't know (doubt that), is coming out in 2008 showing is stuff! I'm sure we will see alot more of him as the years go on, seeing he already has a great deal of quality tricks, plus a Tony Hawk style that meets street! Here's a little video of his recent footage:

Dang gotta love that BS crooked to shove it out.

Plus, I love his style man! As you said, Tony Hawk's style, only in the streets :D

Applause for Riley Hawk. I thought he wouldn't live up to the hype or something...

Just shows that if you have a pro skater's showing you the way, then it's pretty much possible for anyone to get really good. Either that or he has skating in his blood, or it's a big coincidence that he's such a good skater like his dad. Weird huh?

I forgot to make this point, and it's too late to edit:

If you rewatch it, he looks like Tony Hawk A LOT in most of the parts. I was confused for a second, and thought Tony skated as a guest or something...

its weird seeing the new generation of people coming up, it really takes a father son type team for me to realize it because I knew of Tony Hawk, it's not like when I'm watching sports and they say someones Dad played for the same team, this is weird because I remember watching Tony compete, I've seen him throw the 900 in person! Now his SON is tearing it up? I remember when Tony Hawk 1 came out!!! I feel old!

^Wouldn't doubt it, considering his dad owns it.

Riley is a beast. Back smith bigflip out? Front board nollie 180 out to switch board to fakie 270 kickflip out? Take that, fully flared.

Riley's a beast of a skater, He's AM for Birdhouse and he has some of the most techincal grinds I've ever seen.

He'll be pro eventually, but not too soon I think...

Jeez Ive never seen someone spin out of boardslides that much. I love the the front board over the skatestoppers. But i wish he would have skated some stairs or gaps. I mean the pop shove late flip was nice, but idk i would have liked something a little more than ledge skating. Still overall a huge awakening to me of how good this kid is

he has 2 other sons.

Spencer and Keegan, and i don't believe they skate, but i could be wrong.

Spencer and Keegan aren't from the same mother as Riley though...

I'm gonna be constantly checking this guy.
And good thing he's skating for fun too
Cause I know Tony wouldn't force a skateboard into his son's hands if his son didn't like it

Man, I remember going "Oh man I hope he skates street and not vert" lol. And he had some really tech tricks I have never seen in a skate video before. I dont care who you are, as long as your having fun, you throw in some unique tricks and even if your father is Tony Hawk, or your on a tv show, doesn't mean they suck or are stupid. Some ppl seem to hate sheckler and even riley hawk not cause of their skate skills either.

Frieken sweet video.

Dude, your an admin your like above god. You don't make mistakes!

Riley's amazing defiantly going to be one of the greats in a few more years, his dad would have had obviously some sort of impact on his skating but you can't teach anyone how to skate like that.

Not to hate, but this kid is nasty..... Anyone can be a great skater along with practice and belief.... But not to point out that at a young age this kid doesn't really have to have a life like working or anything plus his dad is a legend skater and skates for a living.. Bills are easily paid and he's learning first hand from a pro plus have time to skate everyday all day and most days with a pro (his dad)... This kid is amazing and beast and it only proves that with practice also enough time anyne can do this... Again this kid is nasty bro some of that **** i never seen before and that wasn't no pop shuv it, that was some other crazy **** he doin...

I would think Tony would be the kind of dad to let their son try out other brands and not force them to wear their brand. Hopefully Adio was Riley's choice.

But he is a ripper, I really enjoy watching him. Some repatitivity, but gnarly.

you just wait a couple years from now it will be

"OMGZ not anotheR RiL3y H@Wk Thr3AD!" he'll be the next sheckler, undoubtable skills but people will hate on this guy cause his dad had great skills aswell.

No doubt he is talanted as hell

I could be wrong

But in general most 16y/o don't pay the bills (They may have part time jobs like me but thats not to pay the latest eletirical bill

He would still go to school, just cause your rich doesn't mean everyday you just skate the whole time

And I would doubt that just cause tonys rich his kids wouldnt have to get jobs. Even If tony had a couple Mill in the bank, thats not really alot when you think about 2 kids whole lifes. Your parent's probably spend a mill every couple of years on daily things for survival. And not to mention how boring it would be not to have a job (jobs are social) could be better than sitting at home all day while everyone else is at work

WTF?

lol, hes all lanky just like his dad.
i was expecting him to be ****, just living off his dads name...boy was i surprised!

when i read that he brought tony's style to the street, i was really not expecting much. personally i think tony's style is terrible (ever seen him try to teach flatground flip tricks?), but riley just rips, i was really amazed. his style is really good and hes got some real bangers skating street. im sure he can probably skate vert too, knowing his upbringing, but im glad hes doing street, hes great

Presto
07-06-2008, 11:53 AM
Haha yeah, Riley shreds. Ledge tricks everywhere.

Atrain, to be fair Tony is a year shy of forty and his style wasn't too ugly on a ramp.

I can't wait to see Riley skating some qps or something, I bet he'd be incredible.

I think it has more to do with Tony skating ''fishtail'' in the 80's over the ''newschool'' decks that are out now....Back in those days, you weren't able to pull the tricks you can today, not because of skill, because the vision boards were so very heavy! It was impossible to get it to flip (and even is today if you ever tried one). I rode them back in the day, and the best we could do was vert and boardslides on the street curbs lol

Such clean style. He's not just just busting basic tricks either, he's got the skills to be a very technically savvy skater. he's so solid and smooth with the way he busts combos, I wouldn't doubt it if he became a leader in the industry. There's something in the Hawk genes, I tell ya...

That's probably why he busts insane **** on street. The way he skates, we probably wont see much of him on vert. This alone will distinguish him from the likes of his father.
