You did me D:?! Haha no, I remember seeing this tutorial before, not exactley what you call wings. They dont look like it. But thats okay, Also I used that render before :p. Also work on your BG.

You should have put the render layer over the wings layer, it would of come out a bit nicer. And maybe put somehting in between the wings t make it one wing instead of 3 wings on each side.
