Well everyone always talks about how skateperception has such good quality videos on their site but no one wants to post their because they will bash you like crazy for not "having right colors" "shaky film" "stupid music" "omg you're a WMM noob" wouldn't it be nice if we had our own video thing?

We could have a whole section for that sort of like SP does, and we'll have a featured video, in other words a video thats so good it'll go on the main page so everyone sees it =].

Just a thought.

Nah, rating wouldn't be good, because haters would keep giving 1's to people. Unless there would be registration and post count requirement for it. Sounds like a good idea overall.

That I can't say yet...I'm looking into a vbullentin option for that. We may have to use the Skaterscafe account on Youtube for the time being until that is worked out

Theres talk on the admin forums of it being in the $200 ratio...Unfortunatly, there is no simple ''addon'' that I know of just yet. Apparently, a german group is working on it, so maybe in the coming months :)

Thanks, but I know about them...Clipshare needs almost its own dedicated system, and we can't afford to slap it on the cafe's side and slow everything down.

The other one got really bad reviews, so we want something easy, and fuctional without the costs...its no big deal, youtube will work for now

It would be cool if there was a way to link our cafe accounts to our youtube accounts so that we could view everyones youtube videos within the cafe. I dunno if that makes any sense to anyone but i'm just brainstorming.

you know, it's possible to create the script yourself. you have to know how, and i couldn't do the whole thing, but i know how to make part of it i think. vBulletin doesn't have a free option for video hosting, usually you buy it, or make it. if you mess up one / \ or w/e though, you're screwed. thats why most people don't bother. we should have donations or something towards video hosting. like, everyone in the cafe can contribute. yes? no?

Something like the Gameroom on www.MLGPRO.com would be really beneficial for the site. New members joining even if it's simply to upload good quality videos, and I guarantee we'll gain tons of posters that way as well.
