I bought a skate board about three years ago from big-five, what I didn't hav the money to buy anything better, and I haven't started useing it until this year. The trucks that came with it were like the crappy cargo trucks and they suck. On top of that, they are also slighly worn down. And on top of that my parents say I need to "become better," but they don't understand how bad factory trucks suck. Any tips on how to convince them or any good truck brand, specifically for air tricks like ollies and kickflips or street skating.

Well for air tricks I'd reccomend Tensor Lows. They're wicked light so you'll have an easier time getting in the air.

Another good choice would be Krux III's. They're also pretty light and would be a better choice if you're looking to do some grinds in the future.

Just tell your parents that the trucks you have are too heavy and you can't learn any tricks with them waying you down. There's no way to progress with the trucks you have. If they want you to get better, then they should buy this.

If I were you I would get some Krux or some Destructo's. You can't go wrong with either one of those brands.

Yo bro I won't knock anyones opinon on here, but personelly I prefer Thunder lights, introduced to me by a pro skater (John Drake AWs) I asked him what your asking and them things was nice bro.... And if your tring to kickflip in ollie I think they would work, cause heavy trucks takes away your ollie hieghts and the hieght u made need to stay over your board fora kickflip.. Damn I'm planning on getting some new thunder lights I would of just gave mine away if I knew you lol... Not saying you dont have any friends but that's usually the best idea, the two rules.... Always skate with people better than you and have friends that will actually give away **** when they buy new gear...

i have been skating krux III's for about 2 years now and i love them. they are light and the kingpin is pretty low for when you do grinds.
also, they have little holes in the hangars and me and my friends joke about them being more aerodynamic, and they might be lol
royals are good trucks also

I skate Krux Downlows.
Inverted Kingpin, pretty light, and damned sturdy.

My favorite trucks are Thunder, I recommend Thunder Appleyards or even Thunder Lights
