Wow. I go to a Baptist church too, but those people are completely ridiculous. We believe having sex with the same gender is wrong, but we don't hate on people that do. You're supposed to be tolerant, and these people are giving a bad rep to other christians. I have no idea why they're picketing funerals though. That's weird.

I was livid when I saw some of this scum picketing in my city, and was nearly compelled to park and give them a piece of my mind. However, these disrespectful morons are deserving of nothing but contempt. I wouldn't want to interact with them, my time is too valuable to waste on creatures of such low intellect.

I totally agree with you. It said don't worship the dead on one of their picket signs. What in the world? Do they not know people have always had funerals to mourn over their beloved ones? Mary was going to place flowers in front of Jesus' cave-tomb-thing when she encountered him after he rose from the dead.
