they wanted to test the gas. so they figured why not test it on our own troops.

it was the Cold War, so it wouldn't have been too smart to test it on an enemy because no one wanted to inflict a nuclear war.

being born and raised in amerikkka, ill be the 1st to tell you that its not our people that screwed up, its our government... they control a lot more than what most people know.
people really think they have a say so in who we elect... did you know in it was proven that bush rigged the electronic voting machines (source was on digg.com) and nobody did anything about it?

It wasn't just the Americans, the Brits did it as well and apparently this has been known by everyone in the military since it happened. My dad was a Navy Diver, and when I told him about it he said it wasn't new material. There's supposedly an area in South Australia which is still unsafe to enter because the British tested weapons there.
