I'm not a racist, but I find it interesting that Jesse Jackson and all of those other figures who flip on the media when something potentially racist happens, and they say "Oh don't let the white people tell you what to do, don't let them drag you down" or such, but racism is a two-way street. Black Supremacy is just as racist as White Supremacy. It just appears that white supremacy is worse when you are in a country where white happens to be the majority, not the minority.

But originally blacks originated from Africa. They ended up in the Americas as slaves. So therefore African American is correct, if they live in America. I'm Italian, but born in America. Does that not make me Italian?

I always cry when I see a black crayon in my Crayola box. Racist company just does not understand my pain, why can't they just call it something like, "White but not white".

You know what I've learned... the people that cry racism like this are the biggest racists themselves! They're the ones that are always concerned about race. They're the ones that will blame any failure in their lives on racism rather than themselves. And the funny thing is they "say" they want an end to racism but they're the ones that perpetuate it with their own ignorance and intolerance by claiming racism anywhere they possibly can.

And honestly, for something to be racist it has to have some form of derogatory or insulting nature. Saying something is racist simply cause the name of a color is involved does not constitute racism.

anyways, ill be first to say that this is more than a little over the top, but you cant really blame the dude for his stance. its no secret that the american mainstream is at least a little biased when it comes to the black/white race issue. and it aint in favour of our brothers of ebony persuasion, thats for sure. even today, generations after the time of the civil rights movement, racism is rife and ingrained into the psyche of many people. one might even say most people. its so common that, in many cases, its accepted as the norm, and the mere suggestion that there be a slight altercation to the status quo in the interests of equality has many all up in arms about it.

so yeah, this particular instance is perhaps a bit hyper-sensitive. but just because THIS was a false alarm, doesnt mean that this is a baseless issue altogether. remember that.

what i find interesting is that the one news station that picked this story up is fox news ...a network infamous for its black oppositional angles on stories. why didnt any other major network make a big deal out of this? why was it only fox?
