the rain crashing on my roof lulls me to a sleep
it puts me past the night
waking me with the prettiest of laughs
at my last stage of falling
i remember the words
the words you told me yesturday
leaving me closer
each word like a magnet drawing me closer
i look down to the grass
when yesturday you and i lay
staring at the sun
still has the warmth of us
as the moon just simply comes by
the breeze as it slips into the ocean
to other places and other people like you and me

so can we go back to those days
were you and i were so close
to you touch
your voice a simple melody
that drives us past
the angles that watch us
to another world thats growing closer

and through the fields we danced
the forests we prayed
the oceans swum
the mountain salled
the waterfalls kissed
nothing was overlooked
i wont forget
without a doubt of regret
together nothing overlooked cant we go back to that time?

i dont know the answers to all these questions
what are anwers to this distant memory
is it just a dream?

I liked it, but it could still use work. I agree with Whoever posted in this thread first besides you. (I don't feel like scrolling back up to look.) I had a somewhat difficult time paying attention. It needs to have something to keep the reader interested in continuing. The overall message, I like though. Keep it up.
