Yeah, I'm gonna go buy a bike today. Not sure what to get, though. I really want something I can take to the skatepark or bust some flatland tricks on. So yeah, any recommendations? I can't really spend more than $200.
Oh, and would buying from a store like Sports Authority or another one of those big sports stores be a bad idea? Should I just check out the local bike store?

Usually the bikes from places like that are of lesser quality. The bikes you will find at your bike shop will be of better quality usually.

What kind of flatland tricks? I would just go to a market or something and get those 10$ 20 year old bikes... You can wheelie them for sure...hehe. But really, it depends on what you specifically want to do with it.

Idk, I was at the skatepark a few days ago and there were these guys with bikes doing all kinds of things. Jumping, 180s, 360s (while pivoting on the back wheel). I also wanna ride some ramps and stuff, too. I don't think a $10 bike will do that. xDD
So yeah, I guess I'm looking for a good BMX bike.

Just a suggestion, but you might try and go to some BMX bike forums and ask around there. I went and searched about BMX bikes and found that $250-$450 is the price you should expect to pay for a good BMX bike.

Thanks for the tip, man. I actually went down to the bike store today and they told me everything. I think I'm all set. Gonna buy one this weekend. :D

Maybe some 26"? It's like BMX, however they can be used in a wide range of mountainbike disciplines... oh wait, 200$ boundary...damn. Oh well, enjoy!
