so instead of getting some new trucks with birthday money i have decided to save and get an oldschool
board for cruising and the odd bowl/miniramp session because they look like so much fun:icon_bigg

so far i have settled on this

Dooks Short Stacks 1/4" risers

so i'm asking advice on this as i don't have much idea on oldschool stuff and what's hot and what's not

also would it be ok with the 9" trucks on a 10" board

any help is much appreciated

Sounds a lot like what I just ordered last weekend.

I ordered the same deck(exception in blue/navy blue) and trucks as you.
From what I have read, it is a good combo.

well it looks like ill get them, now just to get that extra little bit of $$$ to purchase it :)

I have 9" trucks on my 10" board too & it works just fine for me

although I'd prolly go for indy or tracker trucks

and also i'm humming and harring about whether to get a Powell Barbee Rag Doll Black Deck 10 x 31.87 instead as i'm more fond of the shape

One problem, you bought Trackers, not Indys. And you might want bigger riser pads, 1/2" should do fine, unless you ride 'em real tight then 1/4" should work.

Oh dude, you really love Indys don't you... hahah. Trackers are fine enough, it just depends on which company you support. I'll send you over any used Indys I have for you to collect and worship.
