I have mine medium so i can kinda turn if i want to but not too lose so i dont wobble and get wheelbite.

i have them a little tighter than medium.

VERY LOOSE!! its good for balancing and if its too tight you cant turn well

Mine are medium.

Landing weird with tight trucks means you have to tic tak out. With lose you might fall over and loose balance. Medium is good cause you can carve out of a trick without losing balance.

tight, it's easier for me to stay balanced when setting up for a trick.

I like them pretty tight but loose enough to turn just by leaning. I hate when they're really loose and when ever you lean at all your wheels rub your board so the skateboard stops but you don't.

problem with tight is that when they are tight it is harder to go faster- i feel.
especially when the trucks are so tight they actually go crooked then you always go to one side!:icon_frow

Mine are loose right now, but for the last month or so I've been meaning to tighten them up. I'm just really lazy.

I just buy the trucks, (or the bushings for them), tighten them about a 1/2 turn from normal, then they loosen a bit as the bushings break in, and its fine.

How tight your trucks are doesn't determine if you're sloppy. I know people who have some of the best styles in the Twin Cities with tight and loose trucks. Myself included. ^______^

They used to be very tight with me.. i still prefer that.. but to add more style i changed it to medium few months ago.. still prefer tight when i do gaps and stuff

I do mine kinda weird... my front trucks are looser than my back trucks, but still fairly tight. And my back trucks are light.

Why?

With them like that, I can still streetsurf when I'm just cruising around, it helps keep away the speedwobbles since I can recover by putting my weight more on my front. And it's still got a nice tight back for when you need to pop the flippy spin stuff.

i like mine loose, but since i usually skate in the morning, my bushings freeze and harden up in my car at night and so they still feel tight. it sucks.

I've ridden loose trucks for a long time and until yesterday didn't even think of tightening them.

I was just setting up to do a fakie bigspin and just as i span my truck fell apart. So i'm like "F*** my trucks broken" turns out the truck was too lose and the kingpin had come undone and was now strewn across the pavement. So i put it back together and tightened both trucks up harder and low and behold, i prefer slightly tighter trucks.

REDONKULUS....LOOSE ...if my trucks were tight to the point where i cant freely carve at a high rate of speed then its not my deck... i skate fast, everyone knows skate loose...plus i like em better loose for grinds flip tricks and everything man
