bc when i bought the board he put them up there loose but i think im gonna tighten them up and then see how i like it

i like em tight, the tighter it is the easier it is for me to do alot of flip tricks, but thats just me, and are better for rail stands

i get way too much wobble when i skate loose. i prefer medium, cause it gives you some flexibillity for landing tricks too.

i clicked medium i well they are a bit looser than medium but i still wouldnt call them loose

I chose medium, but I think they're more tight than they are loose. I just like the feeling of more control especially if I don't have to do so much control when skating street so I can focus all my footwork and balance on the trick instead of just balancing the trucks. Plus, I usually ride bigger wheels than your average tech/street skater so tighter they have to be.

I adust for the occasion, if im skating downhills then I like them farily loose so I can carve it up. On vert & street I perfer tight but at anytime I might loosen or tighten them & a wrench is always carried.

Loose gives so much more control then tight, and once you skate it for a few weeks it doesn't affect your balance trying to set up for a trick.

I tend to bite the board with my wheels when there loose. Used to skate them tight, but broke a grind king axle......welll I had them way to tight and broke the axle on them. no joke.

i have them Medium, if they are tight its hard to turn but if they are loose you will eat dirt quiet alot

Mine's like...Not medium and not tight, in between. The guy at the skate shop put together my board for me, so I'm not quite sure. Just better than crappy Wal-Mart boards.

For my street deck; I ride with tight trucks (with pivot cups) and for my fs board: I ride with EXTREMELY tight trucks...

i learned the hardway when i first started .

I skate tight but ive heard from people who skate loose and from people who used to skate tight and switched to loose that skating loose trucks are easier. It kind of makes sense i guess but i dont know. Is there any truth to this? I also think some of it is personal preference.

i like them medium when i go to a skatepark, but when im doing street i like them a just lil tighter.

I skate loose. and I find it impossible to RIDE tight trucks.

How can anyone "ride" tight? I think it's a loaded question! Tricks are when you have them tight. Ride, you need them loose to make turns, and hard cuts especially when doing down a steep incline.

Remember my first time going down a hill back in 1976 and the board has the trucks tight as a fist. I went to turn left, and the board when staight. Landed right on my butt, and not my head thank god! After that, made them loose as a goose!:icon_peac

p.s. if you like tight trucks, get destructo bushings and the little metal piece below the nut. There are like rock hard

im loose but when riding ramps i tighten mine when riding street i have mine loose

Do some BOWL skating, and you have to keep the trucks loose. Need to cut hard sometimes, and you can't do that with tight trucks.

i like them just in the middle. loose enough so i can turn well, but tight enough so it stays stable when im starting my tricks. my friend ricky (otherwise known as kr3wdude59) keeps them soooo loose that when i even go for an ollie, my feet are wobbling back and forth on the board

Tight...I always have skated that way....thats how I learned and thats just what I"m good at....unless its really confined spaces that I'm skating then its crucial to have it medium or loose so you have good manuverability....and thats why you always carry a tool with you :D

To aviod speed wobbles, I have always ridden tight, but I think I am gonna start loosening them up because I am sick of my bushings getting munched up and then offsetting the truck angle. Considering I drive everywhere now (by default), I don't bomb hills very often, so it will probably be better to have them loose.

mid tight cause im just now getting flips like 3 weeks ago i landed my first kickflip and im already on to hardflips and frontside flips

i think it is easier to do straight tricks like kick flips and heelflips with tight trucks but 180 and pop shuvit tricks are way easier with loose trucks but personally i skate loose because personally my skate style looks really grubby with tight trick even when i land my tricks clean my body looks really tight loose kinda just flows more

i'd say slightly tighter than medium. tight trucks are easier to do flip tricks with and to turn i just lean back and pick up the tail

Really loose, but not so loose that you can't keep the board stable.

I like pretty loose trucks. I like to carve bowls, downhill roads, sidewalks, parking garages etc. as if I were snowboarding. Also makes it easier for me to roll away from otherwise sketchy landings. As far as flip tricks go, I can almost stick a double kickflip, and my kickflips, heelflips, and varial flips are pretty consistent.

I generally keep my trucks medium - I find this best. When they are too loose I tend to loose control or fall off and I can't seem to do ollies that good - But when your riding down a hill, well that's like asking to fall off your board!

When they are tight then I can't seem to turn well - I have gone straight into a wall because of this. However having them very tight allowed me to get a nice ollie height.

But having them medium allows me to have the best of both - I get good handling and good pop aswell as overall board balance.

loose indy highs are the way to go man ,loose trucks improve your style and help you turn,tught trucks split your bushings and put to much stress on the kingpin

Loose is my favourite, makes it way more fun to ride down the street. I have my trucks very loose and I love it. It makes tricks a bit harder, but I don't mind. I want to have fun skateboarding no matter what I'm doing even riding.

So true. I find my board feels a lot smoother and faster with loose trucks. I think i've found the perfect mix now. Loose enough to turn tight enough to stay completely stable.
